Doubts about Predator's Mark Bleed dmg calculation.

    Greetings Agents,

I have just finished minmaxing a Predator's Mark build out of nostalgia (First set I have ever managed to acquire solo in the 1.2 1.3 days) and about 60 Barret runs with no damn chestpiece drop. Now, I went to the firing range to test a bit, and something seems odd. The talent listed on the set says the following:

"Hit 10 shots without switching target to make the target take damage over time for 50% of the total amount of damage already done by those bullets."

I shot the target 10 times with my Warlord. If my math is right (24.176x10)/2 equals 120.80. Yet I only get a simple 15.049 per tick. If you do the other way around (24.176/2)x10 you also get 120.860, which is far more than 15k.

Is the thing bugged or am I doing things wrong? I would love if some other Predator user could explain this to me. I am beyond puzzled.

I might be wrong but I think the bleed effect lasts for 8 seconds.
    Do the math from there..

    120860 / 8 = 15107.5

It used to be 100% which was actually useful, now its useless.

Beyond useless due to the fact that enemies do not seem affected by bleed at all like we are.

It would be nice if Bleed slowed the enemies down like it does us. but it doesn't. The enemies aren't even affected in the slightest. Their aim isn't affected, their mobility isn't affected, nothing affects them. They dont run for cover even.

Personally, I think Bleed needs to directly affect their health, not their armor bar, kinda like Slash damage does in Warframe. Or it needs to make the enemy affected disengage, and stick to cover for the duration.

Agreed, but then it would be OP and as we know, OP is a problem here.

Considering it's effectively attached to auto weapons exclusively, I don't think even 100% would be OP.

8 seconds worth of firing is at least a single reload and the amount of damage dealt from the bullets themselves far exceeds the bleed damage done from 10 something hits. At the end of the day I think the main perk of Predator is the slow and the fact that it doesn't work in PvE is IMO the focus that the Massive team should take as the damage applied is trivial regardless and only useful in isolated cases like loss of LoS.

Ah so that's how it works! Thank you.

For me the purpose of using Predators Mark is that you can make your opponent use a medkit or a heal wich will put either one on cooldown for while.
That's when you move in and finish him/her off.
If they don't heal they'll be slow and an easy target.
That's how it works in pvp anyways...
But of course you have to survive long enough yourself to be able to down your opponent.
