I'm with you GMT! Imagine the feeling when you hear a patrol and realise they are right on top of you but they pass by, footsteps either side of your head, without noticing you! (Until a squad mate radios you to tell there's a patrol on its way to your position and they hear your radio and turn to murder you!)Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
LOL... good one!
Then again, imagine you are all ghillie'd up on top of a mountain extremely well hidden, stealthy as the white cat in the latest UBI video (a round of applause ladies and gentleman please) and a guy talking to his body with his back to you all of a sudden starts to scream that the Gringos are coming... you may think, ok, I may have taken a bit too long to hide myself, even though you are pretty sure you didn't so you say, let me restart the mission.
You do that, only this time you decide to test your theory and go full commando, naked as the day you were born and the same thing happens? Cosmetics wins all the time and with UBI's track record, which one would you say holds more water? But hey, lets just wait for that close/open beta to find out once and for all, right?
Oddly enough this could be done in OGR/IT if memory serves. If I'm not mistaken the exact line of dialogue your sniper would say was something like "They're right on top of me..."Originally Posted by mythomaniac Go to original post

This game is going to be unique they even had the original Ghost Recon developers take a look at the game and they gave really good comments on this game. I personally being a Ghost Recon player from the previous titles am really excited. I am definitely going with an enforcer look. Wondering if we will be able to wear a balaclava with a t-shirt and body armor. Wondering how that will work. Maybe even a metal plated face mask.. I for one have crazy and unlimited amount of options in my head for customization. Already thought of some outfits just from seeing the character smith trailer![]()
I hope the Ghillie suit is actually functional, and not cosmetic. Like they could add in the 'enemy awareness' meter from GRFS and Splinter Cell when you're hiding in the suit. And you'd have to have one that fits into the environment, e.g. a green, bushland one for forests, a snow one, a desert/sand one etc.
