With 1.6 ahead, there are suggestions that need to receive more public discourse that will be addressed on this post today.
1. Armor Changes (not a new topic, however)
a. Removing armor as a major attribute roll is a necessary prefix.
b. After balancing armor and removing it as a major attribute roll, the next step is to add the ability to reroll armor at the recalibration station.
c. Armor changes from damage mitigation to a second health bar (additive vs multiplier) regenerates when agent enters cover or x seconds after not taking damage.
2. Skill Power change
a. Dividing a skills potency and the skills cooldown to skill power and skill haste respectively.
b. Turn Skill Power (Firearms, Armor, Stamina) scaling linear (y = mx + b). Change the y-intercept when entering a different world tier for balancing.
3. DZ skill rank matchmaking
a. Separating the new DZ player from DZ veterans, low tier PvP players from top tier PvP players, frequent PvP killers from frequent PvE farmers.
b. Add Unranked/Ranked options for the DZ.
4. Features for DZ bosses/landmarks
a. Bosses that move through multiple blocks/DZ zones.
b. Have periodical capture points in the DZ that provide temporary boost varying between agents, rouge levels, solo or group players.
c. Hidden intel that needs to be extradited, assignments given to every agent, intel extraction provide boosts.
5. Heals
a. Reduce medkits in DZ. Let Npcs drop medkits frequently.
b. Medkits don’t heal armor, only heals from skills can.
IMO, TTK against agents needs to be shorten and less medkits, skill heal frequency, and armor changes would effectively help. Famas (guns in general) needs to be balanced, and after armor balancing, AB should sit at a good place as a dps focus build. Other gearseats could use a buff. I would like to hear where skills stands and how the suggested skill power changes can change the skill meta. To keep the post relatively short, fine points where not stated, but these topics should be discussed in more detail. In addition, the suggestions are for public discourse, not trying to take credit for others ideas. Finally, NPC balancing (PvE) would be required but that’s why we have a PTS.
I would like to see the option of swapping out the Signature skill for a 3rd skill. So you could have 3 skills, or the current set up.
I rarely use my Ult. And as much as I love Recovery link, it is wasted in the DZ. It is useless in PVP. At least for me it is. I get downed so fast, that as soon as Recovery Link activates i'm dead within the second. So there I am running around for 5 minutes on cooldown, were I could've had a 3rd skill ready for use. I don't pvp anyways, I just stay there til im killed. So the Ults are occupying a slot for more useful skills imo.

Given how bad Survival group matchmaking is (it takes forever), I am not a fan of the dark art of the matchmaking system, so not looking forward to any kind of DZ matchmaking being forced upon players.
