    Progression – Leveling up
Every hero has their own progression. The more you play with a hero, the more experience points you will get. Getting experience points will level up your hero and get access to Feats and Customization elements. (Materials, Color Palette, Engravings, Symbols, Paint Patterns)

Every 20 levels, a hero gets a Reputation level and his level are reset to Level 1. Getting the first Reputation level will give access to Loadouts. Once a Hero get to Reputation 5, he will unlock a specific Outfit.

Experience points can be acquired by completing a match (Duel, Brawl or Dominion), performing actions on the battlefield (Guard break, Parry, etc.) and doing action according to the game mode (Renown points in Dominion only). These points are awarded at the end of a match.

You can also get experience points from Orders, they will also be awarded at the end of a match, if the requirements have been met.

Sorry man I guess iIjust no life things harder than you XD. Champ status does matter and haveing a full kill time making matches faster and profitable matter as well. bonus exp from each guy. I am not leveling this time so have at it I'm focusing on my play to be ready for launch. But unless you share your account don't make any plans on out leveling me. taking a week off of college and allowing myself no more than 3 hours a night of sleep until I max.

    balance

so..if the level is hero-locked, how is this gonna work for balance?

I mean, if I have a level 20 hero and a level 5 hero, how am I gonna be able to fight against people with the same gear as mine?

The matchmaking is done BEFORE you select the hero, so am I gonna be forced to play with the same hero over and over? (the strongest one) Because if I play with the level 5 hero and my opponent chooses his level 20 (hypothetically) I'm gonna get RECKED without a chance to fight|

I personally have no idea how they will have matchmaking working. I know i was being matched up against people not even renowned in Alpha while I was r5 with nearly maxed out purple gear. It will be interesting to see how they matchmake if you have say someone who is a no life like me and rushes to max renowned early on in the games life.

How will FH handle assists and end-of-match XP rewards?

Will everyone get the same "tick" for let's say the kill and its assist?

Will there be a score at the end of the match that measures the team's performance moreso than individual performance? e.g., Mass Effect 3 CoOp has a system where each player's contribution to the match's score is listed, but the combined sum of all players is the "reward XP" and further the team's performance as a whole, the win/loss factors into the "Credits for gear."

Basically, you get a set amount for the match type you completed. Did you win or lose. Then you get more based on your own contribution as your class. So if you play say an assassin you get renowned for killing people solo. Each class has a way to boost their point gain and after the match is over you get a value of exp added onto your baseline based on your performance. That is how it was in Alpha at least.

    [Bug Report] Progression Bug

I have encounter a progression bug; where in I cannot level my main character (Warden) past Reputation 1 level 9 or level any characters (unlocked or not); also I do not receive any loot at the end of a match; yes I realise sometime you just don’t get anything; but I am not receiving anything at the end of a match on any character, Item, EXP or even Steel. So just trying to bring this to Ubi’s attention; as it is rather irritating; and needs to be fexed asap.
