Currently running G36C with Focused talent while wearing Barrett's Chest Piece and every time I pop a boostershot, my DPS actually drop instead of going higher. Looks like they both can't work together.
Focused: When no skills are on cooldown, your weapon damage is increased by 10%
Barrett's chestpiece
Increase damage by 5% when one skill is on cooldow
I suggest using a different weapon or rolling off Focused, because no matter if you're running Pulse or Smart Cover, you're gonna have at least one skill on cool down 100% of the time. Doesn't it work with Signatures as well? If so, and with the cool down time on that, you see why Focused is trash tier.
Which is because of Focused giving you that fluff, but as soon as you heal.. that 10% is gone.. Go with Adept, although it's 3.50% less than Focused, it does the opposite of what Focused does.Originally Posted by EemanSaleem Go to original post
Actually, I think Competent would be way better than both of those. Yeah, go with Competent, if you want something similar to Focused.
If you are looking just for dps numbers you are doing wrong! I can melt you with 220k pure dps based on firearms. Use your brain instead numbers.Originally Posted by EemanSaleem Go to original post
Cheers bro! Did some tweaking and fixed it last night.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post

Consider in PVE if none of your skills are on cool down, Focus does give you 10% more damage. Now couple it with Famas's 15% more damage - you are set for around 25% more damage already.Originally Posted by Nopvedz4you Go to original post
Now if you use booster shot (and you're wearing Barrett's Chest Piece), both your DPS and Toughness sky rockets.
As soon as you pop booster, you lose focused. I'd rather get competent which will activate when using either skill so using booster will activate competent and also activate 5% dmg from barrett. That's a gross amount of dmg accumulated considering barret makes your booster stronger by the skill perk.Originally Posted by EemanSaleem Go to original post
