As a PVPer, there should be a PVE Darkzone IF.....

.....Last Stand doesn't have a Raid or Real endgame. Im talking (4-12 person events)

Honestly the best thing Massive can do right now is announce that The Last Stand has Raids and future DLC will build in this. They dont have to go into detail but give the PVE community something to look forward to. I think the vast majority of complaints about the DZ will go away if this olive branch gets extended. I think most of this fustration is becuase of the lack of content and the DZ is the scapegoat.

However we can all agree that the worse case scenerio is The Last Stand gets released with no endgame PVE content. If that occurs I think the vast majority of players will quit for good.... including myself. At that point a PVE DZ is inevitable to keep what they have left.

An even worse scenerio is putting the raids behind Year 2 content....that would be extremely scummy and probably never buy a Ubisoft game again.

Say what you want about PvP community vs PVE Comnniuty....we both contribute to keeping this game above water while everyone else quit. You cant have a Division without both.

You are forgetting that Last Stand is a paid DLC. Don't forget a lot of people already hate the scaling armor and health of NPC's to group size which is stupid in my opinion.

Yeah seriously, the PVE is so mindnumbingly boring in this game. All incursions are trash. Underground is a borefest. The PVP was most fun in 1.4 due to build diversity which got killed in 1.5. But at least it's still somewhat fun.

Survival is the only fun DLC (though not rewarding at all). I just hope Last Stand, even if it's not a raid, is something that has good design.

Why not have a 12 v 12 server.. pvp scavenger hunt .. time limit.. ticket based first to 300 or something like that. Top 3 players get a free ice cream and the others a bag of real English soggy chips or some high class items in a nice posh Cache

I don't like the PvP in this game at all. From ganking, to the actual mechanics of how fights work.

Having said that, if there ever wear a PvE DZ, the bosses should be much harder, where it might take 8 people coming together to take them down. At least make them like that up in 05-06. heck, I'd be in favor of one or two of them maybe taking 12 people.

I don't think they should make the general enemies harder, as it would be nice if single players that want to farm DZ credits or chests could still move about the map.

The bosses would be the same.

I'd just like to see something that encouraged random cooperation, instead of random trolling.

The blight bosses in the open world areas of Destiny are a good example.

How about supply drops guarded by much stronger enemies, and then once the chest is first opened, anyone can get gear from it for 30 seconds before it destructs?

There are a lot of things they would have to change for a PVE DZ but the question is do they want to. Games are suppose to be fun at the end of the day and if people are not having fun in the DZ and it turns people away from the game how is that a good thing? All these people whining about there should never be a PVE DZ, well guess what when barely anyone plays this game there will be a PVE DZ.

For me a PVE DZ should be different from the current one so that it doesn't take away from the current DZ. Even saying that people freak out about it.

Having random encounters with other PvEers, then just the BoO or safehouses.

Look, let's be honest here: While this game is a great game, it's always felt kind of unfinished, hasn't it? To me at least, it seems that the PVE game has very little variety, and a minimal number of big coop missions, while the PVP seems like it was thrown in as an endgame at the last minute when they ran out of ideas.

Imo, what this game needs, and has always needed, is about triple the PVE content is currently has, with a wider variety of mission types, and PVP with a real purpose such as DZ missions pitting agents against rogues.
The issue is an overall lack of actual playable content and story the second you hit level 30. Whether that's lack of creativity on the part of the developers, or simply a ploy to extend the game and maximize dlc profits, I really don't know, but it hurts the game either way.
