I signed to play this game like 7-8 months ago but i didnt have any luck getting onto the alpha or techtests, coz streamers got themselves VIP passes or maybe its just beacuse i live in brazil, i dont remember seeing anyone from south america making gameplay videos from the alpha ( and ive seen a lot), i could be wrong tho but i guess we are on the unsupported regions....

Anyway....i really hope i get to play this game before i die

Dedicated Servers for this Beta so we can actually test the game in a consistent state, or are you down to lose more potential buyers before your game is released?

If you have any thoughts, comments, or would like to discuss P2P vs. dedicated servers, there are other threads around the forums to do so in. News about this before the beta hits would be nice. I do want to throw my money at the screen, but if I don't get any time to try out dedicated servers prelaunch, the likelihood of me buying the game (and many other players to boot) is zilch.

While I absolutely, undoubtedly, completely, totally, and 100,000% agree that P2P servers are a mistake and Dedicated would be wayyy better, I'm too pumped for this game to not have it. Plus my wife got me the Collector's Edition for Christmas XD

There's no way in the world I would even consider buying this game without dedicated servers. It's like Dark Souls pvp without it.

I don't understand why there is no open beta??? An open beta draw more players in the hype train and gives everybody a chance to try the game for themselves not just rely on YouTube or Stream...and since its always the same people that are in those closed thing from the beginning your going to miss on lots of people that could add ideas to the game.

Dark Souls doesn't have dedicated servers for PvP. It has had P2P since Demon Souls.

Unless I misunderstood you and you meant that DS PvP was "bad". In that case, sry. I liked it. Wasn't laggy for me at all.

There are always many new people in each of these events and each of these events bigger than the ones before. This doesn't mean everyone will get in, but as long as you've signed up you'll have a chance.
