Closed Beta Coming January 26 – 29 | Forums

1) People who really want to buy the game they will do it with or without playing on closed alpha/beta tests.
2) "First come first served" - isn't good. What if the amount of players who signed up 8-5 months ago is enough for closed beta test? If so, there's no reason to continue the registration for closed beta test and it must be closed? I think, random selection is more fair. I agree with "Doesn't seem fair that someone that just heard about the test and signed up gets in the test", but random is random.
3) We talk so much about methods of selection, but will be the players selection for closed beta test worldwide? That is the question of fair.

Nope, completely disagree. It's like standing in line for hours and seeing ppl cut the line in front of you. When it's finally your turn the doorman tells you they're full and that you can't get in. Back of the line is what's fair.

As for the rest I wouldn't pretend to know the answer. From what I've read here and on reddit there are regions that didn't get in the Alpha like South America and Asia (although Japan had their own separate closed Alpha), I imagine there may be some Regions that won't be able to participate. It's a good question but it has nothing to do it the Selection logic they might be using,

I read in one of the threads in the forum that some people received an e-mail announcing the date of the closed beta.

Although I understand that this mail doesn't mean that they have been selected for the beta I would like to know if there are any reason why this mail was not sent to everyone?
I did double check my e-mail address and I have been keeping a close eye on my inbox and junk mail to make sure I don't miss any e-mail from you guys and i don't wan't to miss an opportunity if i get the invite for the beta.

Your answer will be greatly appreciated.

They probably subscribed to the Ubi newsletter, check your profile settings and check the box to get the same kind of Ubisoft related News m8.

My first thought was that you may be opted out of emails of that type. I was able to check both of your accounts along with the Ubisoft Support team and you are indeed signed up. In most cases I think this just boils down to a bit of server delay between where the email was sent from and the email provider. One thing to remember is that when invites go out, you can always contact support if you need to double check. We should be able to look at your account and determine if you were invited and they key that should have been sent.

Invites haven't gone out yet. They'll be going out early in the week of the event. We'll give an update when it's time for those to go out.

I have a question on what I gather about WAR OF THE FACTIONS. This is a test in closed Beta or will it carry over to the full game as well? I think this is neat and a good Idea.... I hope it stays in the full game.... I'm counting the days.... 6/21/2016 I preorder the Gold when I first heard about For Honor, and I hope I make the closed Beta... This game is epic and my inner Warrior is ready for this... Thank you Dev. Team and All for this..
