Vikings did not have horned helmets, but I guess you've been told a few times already. Also it would be hard to fi before release.
One thing that is easy to fix and gets on my nerves, is the fact that you call the viking sword a gladius? What the? A gladius is a roman sword. The sword you show in images and you have modeled in game is a NORSE sword, like the Ulfberht. You really should change the name. The Ulfberht is famous, so go with that name. It has a nice viking ring to it as well, being Old Norse.

There is no such thing as a 'Norse' sword. The 'Viking' or 'Carolingian' sword, is derived from the 'Merovingian' or 'Migration' sword of the 4th-7th centuries, which in turn is derived from the Roman Spatha. None of which matters, since, as you might've noticed, the world isn't ours. Vikings, Samurai and the classical idea of knights didn't happen at the same time.Originally Posted by Mr_Gallows Go to original post
The Ulfberht is 'famous' only because of utterly garbage videos on Youtube. The Ulfberht is famous, so go with that name.
Considering that 'Ulfberht' is nothing of the sort, being Frankish both in name and manufacture? No, it doesn't.It has a nice viking ring to it as well, being Old Norse.
First check Frankias history in relation to Scandinavians. Then check the 1200 year old sword found in norway using the same principles of smithing.
The name was just that, a name, not going for historical accuracy. But a viking with a gladius is just stupid, no matter how much you wikepedia the idea![]()
