i find it weird that the conqueror's standard block has superior guard and the warlords dosen't. so whats your point? they are different classes with different propertiesOriginally Posted by TCTF_SWAT Go to original post
a question about the warlords feats, i dont remember the name exactly tough as nails i believe? the last one in the tier3 feat list. it says something like increases his max health when unlocked, whats that supposed to mean? when you are out of guard mode? or when you unlock the feat, like you have to get lvl3 ingame and then the warlord just gets more hp.![]()
It means u wiil gain more health after LVL3.Originally Posted by Malec1983 Go to original post

the problem I see with the assassin classes are that they are built as COUNTER classes as well.
Assassins WANT YOU to attack 1st so they can side step and punish..... which is kind of what the Warlord is-- block then punish with light attacks and mix with heavies.
I'm assuming if you play the Warlord correctly-- then you build up impatience within your opponent so he takes the offensive.
I main Warlord, and this guide outlines pretty much everything I have found. I don't use headbutt much but it is definitely going to be something I add to my arsenal. Warlord does not have many counters. They are a solid class that can tie you up in a very long fight (if you win) because patience is definitely its strong point. Really the only way to beat them is if the player does not really now how to play the class and utilize his abilities.Originally Posted by Fatal-Feit Go to original post
Nobushi can counter Warlord by being on highground keeping distance using dodges. The range of the Nobushi allows them to hit you without being in range for a counter attack.Truly a pain to fight, but not unbeatable as a Warlord. You definitely have to get creative with your environment (force them into a corner, get high ground. Trees and walls won't help because the Nobushi attacks in straight forward pokes) or take the aggressive stance and utilize dodge yourself. I personally will drop my Warlord and pick up a Berserker if they insist to fight as Nobushi, as the soft counter is annoying and the Berserker gets the fights over quickly.

Once you unlock the feat in the match you get another bar of health (I think it's that much, could be a little less).
Sort of.Originally Posted by Sharrowyn Go to original post
Berserker isn't really a counter attacker. They obviously can be with their side-dashes and deflect, but they're classified as a harasser, so they're best used as a highly offensive character that keeps their opponent on the defense.
Warlord played correctly is actually as a counter attacker. He can do three different moves out of omni-block, meaning you can keep an opponent guessing at all time, and the two counters are incredibly powerful, as long you get the timing for them down, and the Shield Bash is a great follow-up for his one-two chain.
I know everyone has the perception of Warlord of being an offensive powerhouse---and obviously he can be if that's your playstyle---but once you learn to be a little more patient with him and let your opponent come to you, you'll find his real strength.
