Thank you for the guide. THIS is the first character I'll try to master. Vikings are my favourite, and Warlord is most appealing to me. Can't wait to play him. Hopefully during beta tests.

Nice work to all who worked on this guide.

    Extremely Helpful

This guide was a huge help in understanding the Warlord and made me even more excited to play this beast!

As a Warden main, I am pretty happy with the concept of the Block and Counter ability, for reasons that should be very clear to any who read the Warden Hall of Heroes guide or played with or against a Warden in the Alpha. I can already tell this is going to be my defensive hero of choice.

So, basically a heavy attack works like that : starting animation -> blocking the direction of attack -> nothing special -> super armor -> hitting ?

    Yes, basically.

Every heavy attack has super armour the moment it swings as a passive skill. You can interrupt it if you hit them at the very beginning of the animation, but after that, the attack goes through no matter what.

What really surprises me is that you have a few moments of blocking in the direction you're attacking, just like the conqueror's heavies !..
(but, longer if I'm not mistaken)

    I have 2 questions:

1.Does the warlord has the same defense as the Conqueror: "Your shield gives you Superior Guard, meaning unlike other characters your blocks fully interrupt heavy attacks as well as lights."
2.How do you deal with faster classes?

    1. No the Warlord does not have the same superior guard as the conqueror unless he uses block and counter.
    2. It is very difficult but you to play defensive and punish them for attacking you.

Yeah i would say the only real problem for the warlord are the 3 fast classes, btw do you use controller or keyboard, i find it very difficult to play with a mouse, the movements seems very weird, if you move for example slightly left+ up the stance still goes the left side, do you think its easy to implement some kind of system where even a minor movement to the top+right will still put the stance top ?
