New generation, old generation, it matters not, they have no excuse for casualizing the gameplay at all. Much of the old generation were in their teens when they started playing Tom Clancy games. I was no older than 14 at the time. Using age as an excuse for dumbing down the gameplay was no valid excuse back then and it isn't now. And like I said before, its not like the older Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games was like trying to learn rocket science. The learning curve was no steeper than Command and Conquer or Warcraft, which had huge numbers of teenagers as its fanbase. In fact, someone once pointed out that much of the Tom Clancy fanbase today are adults, so they have even less of an excuse for watering down the gameplay. So if by "casual" they mean "the young", then there really is no such thing. However, if they want to be honest for once and say that by "casual" they mean the Call of Duty/Halo audience, only then will Yves and others actually start making some damn sense, because we can certainly see the call of duty being put in Tom Clancy with features like the wolverine health system. To put it simply, you are either a fan of the game or you aren't. There is no real in between.Originally Posted by he1nz Go to original post
Weve been told we have 21 regions on the map, I'd be over the moon if PvP was 8v8 and each region = 1 map.Originally Posted by xIMayhemIx Go to original post
That would be absolutely insane..Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post
Have any of you guys played Red Dead Redemption online PVP? I could see GR emulating this style of PVP. In all honestly, there's no reason that this couldn't be done successfully given the advancements in dev technology since the days of Red Dead.
