Official sources are hiding all the info from you! How can we put trust in them?

They haven't lied to me about wildlands yet, I take games on a game by game basis, I very much like what I see and have pre ordered.

If players want to wait and see before buying then that's fine but players shouldn't be blamed for pre ordering.

We aren't in a court of law and it doesn't really matter if I'm wrong. At the end of the day it's just a guess for a video game. And it's only because they are keeping quiet for no good reason.
That's all we can do at this time, come to conclusions from hints.
    a) They haven't announced PvP
    b) The studio that made GRP has been working on a new title for over a year. Confirmed by a reliable source.
    c) Before shutting down, the GRP community developer stated "So this is not a goodbye. We’ll see you soon, in another adventure!"

    I seriously don't care if I'm wrong.
These guys should just announce if they have PvP or not.
At this stage it's looking unlikely.

Let me answer you this way:

They HAVE announced that there were will be a Solo Campaign, since the beginning no less, so we all know it is in the game, yet... not a single REAL gameplay trailer has been shown about AI Teammates, PC controls (if this is even included in the game at launch), whether there is a Hardcore Mode and you are asking for a mode that they DID NOT haven even announced yet?

IMO their new policy is "No false or unsure infrormations = no disapointments when the game is released". And I'm ok with that.
But I also think that we need (and we will receive) more info soon.

That policy is a stupid one. Why can't they just say "DISCLAIMER: PLANS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE" as they market the game? Is it absolutely impossible to market the game truthfully?

Yeh we will receive information eventually. But the decision to have a major game mode like PvP is probably made very early in the development cycle. You can't just say if we have time we will include PvP as well. I feel like they didn't have the resources so they outsourced it to another studio.

Why else would they keep quiet?

Maybe it's better this way, they will build something a lot better by learning from their previous mistakes. But I would prefer it to all be in one client.
Having played Wildlands, some of the features hinted that there could be PvP. But I'll have to keep quiet myself.

These guys need to start releasing more information. The Community Managers on the forums don't seem to be telling the devs that the fans want new info. They just like to prevent freedom of speech by removing links and locking threads.

It would be a big let down if there is no PVP but we can only still have hope.

There's no satisfying everyone. Ubisoft is of the opinion that the way they handle new titles and marketing, keeping them relatively secret until things are 110% confirmed is the best way to mitigate as much negativity as possible stemmed from let-downs and the like.

Even if they were 100% transparent, and we had live web-cam feeds with audio into the desks of every single developer at all times... People would still be disappointed if they saw a feature they liked being developed, and then scrapped for some reason or another.

There's two sides to this, and neither one can possibly satisfy everyone.

Because Ubisoft had problems in the past (and not only Ubi have problems with that) when they put something in a trailer and it got removed because it was affecting an other compenent of gameplay. Things that can't be predicted.

People don't care when it's written in BIG LETTERS : "DISCLAIMER: PLANS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE". After they come to complain like their dog got killed and their house got destroyed by Ubisoft. People are like this now.
So yes I prefer the way they are realeasing the information right now.

And think about it. The beta is soon and they will show "REAL" gameplay before, don't worry for that.
