I am a returning player to The Division.
I originally purchased the game last year when it was first released.
I donwloaded all of the latest patches; however, when I try to connect I am stuck on the Connecting screen.
I have tried multiple PS4 restarts.
Please advise.

Okay thank you for your response; however, another user recommended the following, and it has appeared to work. I am now able to login to The Division.
- Unlinked account from the ubisoft account management via https://account-uplay.ubi.com/
- Load up another Ubisoft game (AC4)
- Try linking with that game. It failed for me as I got Ubisoft Service unavailable.
- Close the game/application.
- Linked the account to psn account from the ubisoft account management via https://account-uplay.ubi.com/
- Reload AC4. Confirm uplay account is working.
- Close AC4.
- Load up The Division."

It has been at least 5 or more months since I last logged; however, I probably just completed Dailies and Weekly Missions.

I own the physical copy of the game.

I own the DLCs (I & II). Purchased separately; however, they were purchased on the same day.

1. Restarted PS4 - did not help.
2. Unlink PSN account from uPlay account via https://account-uplay.ubi.com/
3. Load another Ubisoft game (Assassins Creed 4)
4. Account link failed via Assassins Creed 4
5. Re-Link PSN account via https://account-uplay.ubi.com/
6. Load Assassins Creed 4 to verify account link
7. Close AC4
8. Load The Division - success!
My account now appears to be re-linked.
I have been able to connect to my account three times in the last month, but I have tried hundreds of times. when I did connect, I have tried removing all mods from items all attachments from weapons to no avail. Today I un- linked my ps4 account loaded Black Flag re-linked account tried to login to the Division, NO LUCK. I have three other accounts on the ps4 they all login no problems. Please fix this soon Ubisoft.

I bought the digital gold edition of the game with the season pass about 2 weeks ago, I have been stuck in the first login screen since the first time I launched the game.
I had already tried the PC version and never had a single problem, it was still digital, but with no DLCs, this was in March 2016.
I managed to login by deleting my PSN account from my Ubisoft page. Of course I had to activate it again when I wanted to play, the game launched, but basically the trick only works just one time. If you close the game and launch it again it doesn't go past the first login screen.
A friend of mine who bought the game with me has the same issue with the gold edition. Another one who bought the physical version plus the digital season pass is not experiencing any problem.
It might be related to the software downloading together both the main game contents and the season pass without activating them separately into our accounts?
