still going on in version 4.8.1
it's a nightmare for showdowns, like murphy's law states, it will crash in the worst possible situation when you have no chance to do anything else
it's just frustrating being ahead, and at 3 minutes to go the opponent takes over
you try to play, it crashes, and you know that even though you'd still have time for 4 or 5 attempts to get it back, you can't, because you gotta wait 5/10 minutes on the opening screen, without touching anything, or it will freeze like ice cube, and before you can do a thing the showdown is over
just lost my entry to bunker level 1 because of that last night

and again, 4 showdowns running..
2:40 to end
freeze/crash exit.. game over for me, will only be able to play again when everything is already decided
was winning all of them, let's see how it ends..

Anyone still having problems with this, I have a workaround that you will not like, but it is a workaround.
The reason it is happening is because the new Ubisoft Club or whatever the F is terrible and slow and just really ruins everything to be honest. Anyways, I had approximately 380 friends, and my phone would freeze for anywhere from 1-5 minutes upon loading. I believe CagBall suggested deleting friends (maybe?) so I decided after a week that it must be done. This is the part that sucks.
The only way to delete friends is from the Ubisoft Club website, which is ALSO slow as all hell. You must select the friend, which then loads his/her profile, then click the box and remove them. Then go back and repeat. Each friend took about a full minute or more. Not to mention I spent a lot of time deciding who to remove. I made two spreadsheets and compared names from my full list and who had been active in the bunker (season was almost over). Anyone not active was removed, unless I knew them. This whole process took hours, and I spread it out over 3-4 nights because it was so tedious. It was also painful to have to remove friends because friends are cool man. Thanks Ubi!
I am now down to ~170 friends, and my phone freezes for approximately 10 seconds on startup now. This is still kinda lame, but 10 seconds isn't horrible at all.
ALL THAT BEING SAID, TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
PLEASE FIX THE GAME!

guess i have to consider doing something similar.. :\
but still, that explains the startup freeze/loading/waiting time need, but not really why after doing that wait i get to play 30 or 40 minutes with no problems and then suddenly the game completely freezes/crashexits
4.8(.1) is glitched
