    Going Rogue in DZ

Please make going rogue in DZ less accidental. I hate it when I become rogue when either my team mates or I accidentally shot other players.

We were having a blast with other groups chasing rogues when we accidentally become ones ourselves.

Please setup a system where you have to choose before entering DZ, or in a safe house, to allow shooting of other non-hostile players or not. This should not flag you up as rogue straightaway, as you can only become one the moment you shoot other players.

I heard you are making PvP the focus in 1.6, please consider the above. It will improve everyone's DZ experience.

This is why there needs to be a good reason to use cover instead of doing the "chicken dance".

Seriously, I'm too scared to even open fire in a manhunt because of this. People move around like headless chickens in close proximity too much. Being mobile immersively means "I'll head over here so I don't get shot at". NOT "I'm going to chicken dance right next to everyone because I can take the hits".

Right now, because of players having high toughness in DZ and using sub machine guns (because toughness) everyone's being a chicken and dancing. At very close range of their team mates and their enemies alike. It's silly and stupid. And breaks immersion. In a game that should be immersive.

Watch Skill-Up's latest video. It pretty sums up all problems in DZ, and he has this idea of placing a PVP flag to those players that shot you.

I like Skill-Up, but those ideas suck. They are open to exploit to no end.

Dev, my idea is simple. It doesn't change much in a way of ganking if players still want to do it, but to those who just want to pvp without going rogue - then this should provide them with a means to do it.

    Please consider it.

I like the idea of punishing friendly fire. It makes the fight more realistic. Like in CS GO where friendly fire can hurt badly.

His point is still valid. To much running in close proximity and hardly ever people taking cover, "dude".

I have a better system, how about you watch what your shooting at?? dont hold the shoot button down and spray..... maybe be tactical about your movement and line of sight for shooting???

Lol. Everytime I hear players like you say these types of things makes me believe you're a Ganker.

The problem that Mr Bauer is not addressing with this stupid game mechanic is when a Ganker (or Gankers) is non-rogue approaches another non-rogue agent, they have the advantage of shooting first because they intended to go rogue. The other non-rogue agent(s) are at a disadvantage if they know that the non-rogue agent(s) they are looking at are Gankers and hesitate to fire first because they don't want to turn rogue. Got it?

This is what every Ganker knows and exploits in their favor. And no, I'm not a noob. My DZ rank is 70. I stopped going to DZ heavily a while back because it's not like the early days.

A lot of people use SMGS from what I seen. Even died to it in a few cases. What else does "Ratatatata" sounds mean if not an SMG? I know what an AR and LMG sounds like. I use an anything other then an SMG myself unless it's with a shield.

Also you're on ignore for insulting me. Congrats. Maybe I'm just having a bad day but I'm not going to stand for insults and being called a liar. Let alone from someone that knows nothing about me.

I like the idea too. But it shouldn't be easy to friendly fire either.

Also I'd argue that the problem is that none rouges can turn you rouge with the "chicken dance" tactic. Basically those none rouges are technically "undercover and working with rouges". Not sure if that was the case or not last time. May or may not have been. I dunno. Feels like it can be exploited that way either way.
