You don't even want to see how broken my Frontline set up is if your complaining about it being OP when you popped a tact link to kill 5 elites and still had your shield under 50%.

I'd like to see it nerfed, just so players would quit using it...

It makes missions boring, and kind of annoying for those who's line of fire you're standing in...

Yea, well, I bought a raincoat and it was so overpowered I didn't get a drop of rain on me and I though it needed a nerf.
I cut some holes in it and now it's about right, yea, I keep dry but not as dry as before simply because the rain leaks in through the holes it's more balanced though because it gives the rain a chance to get me a little wet.

    Let's just nerf life.

When i run D3 my friends in the group stand just behind me, one on the left and one on the right, they take pretty much no damage and dish out loads of dps.

Fourth player goes lone wolf and keeps a look out for flankers.

With the username you have, I thought you would be a bit more upbeat.

I usually am, but I've joined a few groups of 3 running this setup, and I honestly could have just taken cover and done a Sudoku puzzle until it was over.
It's just too easy is all.

haha.. ok, Clear Sky was a good test. Perhaps it's not so OP there However, I do feel like Clear Sky and the incursions in general were not designed to be completed solo... but rather as something challenging that you need to build a squad to complete.

Maybe calling for a "Nerf" was too extreme... ike using a four letter word in this context. I don't want the Ballistic Shield to become useless again, I actually really like using it... but it's just too powerful in the regular missions. Maybe rather than a shield Nerf, the regular missions could all have a Heroic mode? I should try my D3-FNC build on some of the existing Heroic missions and see how it feels.

But I still feel like a little bit of the damage the shield takes could be passed along to the player, like the way you take damage when you fire from cover (or blind).

Thanks for the responses and suggesting to try Clear Sky.

I do see a few D3-FNC users, but dude, there are a lot more other sets running around the Division than this one. Why don't we just get rid of all the sets and keep none of them? I bet someone will come and ask to nerf the HE item, too. I know what... let's get rid of all the RP elements in this game (no different qualities of weapons and gear), stop farming, and just use generic weapons, accessible for anyone and have an open world R6?

As a purely PVE player I have four toons with four kinds of setup, one of which is the D3-FNC. If you don't like it, don't use it. You want to nerf something because others are using it. How sour could a player be?
