Hello, the community of Ghost Recon Wildlands, here are some ideas which could be fun if implemented into Wildlands.
Survival
Survival is a game mode in which the Ghosts' objective is to survive ten waves of Cartel forces advancing on their position.
Each wave is more aggressive and crowded than the previous, with the last 5 waves added with Unidad reinforcements.
The Ghosts will be victorious if they have not reached the deaths limit after ten waves.
Extraction
Extraction is a game mode in which the Ghosts' objective is to secure, protect, and extract a VIP from pursuing Cartel forces.
A VIP will need to be escorted to an extraction point, the Cartel forces will not stop pursing the Ghosts until VIP is extracted.
The Ghosts will be victorious if they have extracted the VIP alive.
Ghost
Ghost is a game mode in which the Ghosts' objective is to assassinate a high value target and escape without alerting the Cartel.
A high value target is protected within a stronghold and the Ghosts must eliminate the target and escape without the Cartel interfering.
The Ghosts will be victorious if they have eliminated the target and reached escape checkpoint without attracting any Cartel attention.
You are about 365 days late and 12 million dollars short for proposing any ideas. The game is finished already at this point. Whatever they had planned for this game three months ago is pretty much what you are going to get.Originally Posted by OULCHURA Go to original post
I'd really want to see a return of Firefight. For those that are not familiar with the mode, it was essentially the Terrorist Hunt for Ghost Recon. It was and still is my favorite game type.
Cordon off interesting parts of the map, populate it with a bunch of enemies, and try to survive.
I think that those "modes" are available as missions in the storyline. I don't really see why there should be separate gamemodes. Especially one that cordons off sections of the map.
That said, those modes in conjunction with a random mission generator could be pretty cool. That "mission generator" would pull from a pool of preselected locations, enemy compositions and objectives to create an (almost) endless amount of missions. I mean, sure, it would get old at some point, but it could make for an interesting endgame. Whatchu guys think?
I don't intend them to be separate game modes, that is up to how the game works, if performing missions requires a loading screen, then the game modes listed here will too if they ever get implemented or if they or a similar version already exists, but if the missions are entered seamlessly from free roam, which we expect it to be this way, then everything won't be separate.Originally Posted by Sp--pyBrown Go to original post
For example, for Survival, the Ghosts may need to enter an area and a game start prompt will pop up and all four players will agree to play survival, then they have few minutes to set up at a desired location or be on the move constantly in a fortress vehicle.
Pretty much, also try a mission with 0% intelligence if you want to try a horde mode kinda feel.Originally Posted by Sp--pyBrown Go to original post

But like Dcopymope said, these ideas absolutely will not make it into the final release. They're busy debugging the beta at this point.
@ThePollie It wouldn't need to restrict the map, just select a point on the map and spawn the mission. Not sure if you meant that by "grabbing a section of the map" anyways.
