Bots can solve captchas up to 6 characters long these days due to good image-captcha algorithms. They get through by the shear volume of guesses they throw at the captcha too.Originally Posted by Enzio_Enzio Go to original post
They can solve captchas with up to 6 characters with medium noise and distortion. Even humans find it hard at this point.
Not on several other forums I am a member of, so what makes those people smarter than Ubisoft?Originally Posted by Dyslexic-Snail Go to original post
They haven't got to those forums yet. Wait and see..Originally Posted by fixer7267 Go to original post
Yep, happens all the time. Obviously they don't know how to prevent it, much less remove it from the forums. Last month it was Viagra adverts, not sure what it is this time as I don't want to click on the crap.Originally Posted by RhinoCharging00 Go to original post
It's like those bots on Second Life that constantly ask for lindens (the in game currency of money). You know how I know they're bots? Because I bring up other topics like "So, naked sky diving, huh?" And they don't even say anything else. I know they're bots because they can't change a topic.
I put those bots on block. Problem solved. But then ANOTHER bot shows up later. Which I put on block. And then another and another. Block and block.
As a result my block list is much larger then my friends list. Am I going to have to do the same thing in this game? FIX THIS ****! Maybe do what VIndictus does. 6 number digit code to log in each time or something. With random placement of where the numbers are. I e-mail something like that to myself to keep me reminded. Eventually I know it off by heart.
Does that really work?Originally Posted by Nopvedz4you Go to original post
What I mean if you post on older threads from page 2 or create new ones, it will push the Chinese spam ones onto page 2, where I bet most people don't look at anyway. Hope I explained that OK.Originally Posted by Winslow-the-Dog Go to original post
