for honor a TRUE GEM that makes me cry!
Ubisoft crated a lot of good and bad games and again this is according to my own opinion.
I am a HUGE fan for melee weapon combat system
I have to admit that since the very first assassins creeds I didn't see anything that took my breath away a made me feel like I want to play a game over and over again.
Today I am kneeling in front of for honor, mouth wide open speechless and amazed but it s beauty.
On the other hand, for honor is looking down on me with a big two handed sword ready to chop of my head down.
This game look amazing for MANY reasons:
- interesting lore story that can be played CO-OP with a friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that alone is just crazy and awesome)
- Three amazing factions to play with.
- nice pvp combat system that promises a lot of great fights
- many different modes
- training feature (can be improved thought :P)
- 1V1
- 2v2
- 4v4 dominon
- 4v4 team death match
- 4v4 Elimination
- war faction that give more meanings to the fights and try to go with an overall achievement to win the war for your faction + the war faction points are CROSS-PLATFORM which mean no matter what platform you play were all fighting along side each other indirectly to win the war!!!!!! one MAP for all the platform!!!!!!!
- FREE DLC
- One of the rare game that, keeps the community tight together at the exception of cross-platform gaming session (you can't play with another player the game from a different platform)
the MAJOR and greatest DISAPPOINTMENT:
- For honor will not be using dedicated server the for their multiplayer games (this were for honor just cut my head off clean)
After all these hard years of work and achievement you guys created something unique mainly focused on a very challenging and competitive gameplay against other players.
Fights were each decision we make and and the time we decide to make it counts in barely seconds.
No matter how great your P2P system is, the core element of this system is based on the hosts reliability and if the host is the player he has no reason or obligation to achieve the highest standard of online experience. he may end up doing the complete opposite in order to satisfy his own objectives (streaming when they have low bandwidth, rage quite, intentional lag, hacking, ......).
We all know that dedicated server are expensive and ask for a lot of people to keep it maintained but please Ubisoft, I just want to understand why did you chose this path??
I know that your decision has already been made about that but if you guys manage to pull this one out and later on processed and migrate to dedicated server.
your game will be....I just don't know how to describe it.
If the value of a grain of sand was as much as grain of gold For honor will be the Sahara it self!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even thought I will not by this game due to the lack of dedicated server as my main focus is to play the multiplayer. I will be silently watching your progress and hope that your online experience will convince me to join your ranks.
Never the less I HUMBLY SALUTE each person who worked hard on this project to make it come true.
For all those who also think this games needs dedicated server please I beg you keep expressing your thought in the hope that our call will be heard but do not forget in the end it's request we keep asking:
"We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude"
