Yes I know survivals pvp but it isn't accessible to everyone therefore the dz is the only place to pvp. Yes it was an improvement they just need to add more.

It's a pvpve game. It's a Loot based rpg shooter. Some people actually enjoy it and as much as the DZ could be improved, I'd rather pvp there than the usual spawnfest fps games out there. I'm still having fun in the DZ even before whatever they do in 1.6.

Not that it's really relevant. The Op is under the misconception that the DZ has the best pve in the game and the game could be the best pve game ever. Hence my response.

I think the lack of content and the lack of depth and random mechanics in that content is turning people's attention to the DZ because the the LZ is just a repetitive snooze fest. Just adding tears, more difficulty and gear score levels to this same repetition and scripted spawning just drives people to look elsewhere. My elsewhere is other games.

I've come to realize they only give the PVE players the minimum because we are the majority of the money. I don't think they want to add a whole lot for us. I mean the last DLC they couldn't even include another incursion and didn't touch any part of the existing game. As much as I love Survival there just isn't enough to keep me playing this all the time right now. I login for a while do a couple of hvt/intel runs and that's about the extent of it now. Not even sure if the next dlc will hold anything for the PVE audience so as sad as that may be perhaps it's time to move on. Sad because this game has a ton of untapped potential.

The PvE in the DZ is not any better... it is actually worse.

    Just adding tears,
Even more? We seem to have plenty of those

    Sorry, couldn't help myself

So what is it specifically about the PvE in the DZ that is so much better than the LZ? Because from my perspective the mobs in the DZ are still spawning in the same locations and they have the same abilities and behaviour as the mobs outside the DZ. The PvE in the DZ is not random at all, its just as scripted as the roaming bosses of the LZ.

I suspect what these people are really enjoying about these empty server instances is the simple fact that they are in the DZ and not being shot at by other players. This rare freedom is making the entire experience seem better. But I did enough DZ back in the day to say that the PvE there is no better than anywhere else so I'm a little confused about this claim.

I spend all my time in the DZ. I love pvp. It's not perfect in The Division, but it's cool. It's gear based so it's not a skill based pvp, but it's fun enought for now.

I don't understand what is so enterterning outside of DZ after reaching level 30.

Doing the same mission again, and again ?... Done it and it's repetitive and boring.
Killing all boss around the map each day ? Done. Repetitive and boring.
Farming gear ? Done in the DZ.
Play Underground and Survival ? Done a dozens of time. It's now boring.

This game is a RPG/Gear based system. So after farming all the set and weapons (exept a couple of extremly rare things) what you will do ?

Play another game or going to pvp.

Very true, though most often my choice is to play another game. Mainly because I'm one of those types who buys games faster than they can play them. I've almost always got a small pile of games waiting for me to get to them. I'll usually come back for DLCs but I get bored/burned out on games relatively easily so I don't normally stick around a game unless I'm REALLY obsessed with it.

Newsflash: It's exactly the same mobs as outside the DZ, they have the same abilities and there are only 4-5 enemy NPC types anywhere in total, they look and behave exactly the same no matter which content you play in the game.

PVE in missions and incursions is 10 times better than PVE in the DZ, at least there are some sort of scripted events around the encounters, in the DZ they do what exactly, besides just standing in a fix spot?

    Ridiculous..
No, DZ has the worst PvE in the whole game now,
stupid weak NPCs scaled for single players

killing PvE bosses with a team of 4 is more challenging than raiding DZ 6

at least those guys at red storm are competent, not the amateurs like the ones we are dealing with since day one

Im solo player, Im fine with NPCs in DZ as they are now, maybe less reds will be perfect.

    Anyway..

Why PvE in DZ is better than LZ?

For me, higher NPC quality... sure, same races as ouside DZ, but try free roam sttreets in LZ and try to find veteran even elite NPC. Yes, there is 15 bosses across whole map. DZ have about 25 bosses on 1/3 area. Incursions are boring and needs team. So no way for me. HVTs are fine but there is boring seek and destroy reěuirement. Missions and UG are fine, but I cant play it often as it becomes repetitve quickly.

Dz have much higher NPC concentration, I visiting current DZ only for assigments and not often. Just few times per month., I will be there at daily basics when there will be PvE only option

We need more PvE content in game, but make it happen takes long time and long resources and we will, propably, see new real pve content in year 2 content, not earlier. So option for DZ sounds acceptable and do not need too much resources
