    Ninjabike Messenger Backpack

I was lucky enough to get 1 today but I was wondering if anyone can tell me how it works?

I was in the DZ solo I had the Ninjabike backpack on, along with a 4 piece Banshee and Savage gloves. I had 1 item in the extraction bag and it was a high end gold cache. Anyway, a team of 4 downed me and I lost the cache.

I thought with the Ninjabike pack you're supposed to keep 1 item in the extraction pouch.

So just looking for some insight. Thank you.

Please don't use it it's worthless hmm I thought that was the case but maybe it only works if you have more than one item. Sorry I can't help as I've never used it although I do have 2 just incase they buff it somehow.

If you are worried about losing items, enter the DZ at DZ01, head straight into the subway and pick up three of the purple caches. It will limit you to six gold/teal caches in your pack but if you are killed all that your killers will get are purples and often they won't even steal them (leaves them available for a while so that you can rinse and repeat). Purple caches have DZ funds in them (some players farm them purely for DZ funds) so extracting them isn't actually pointless and can help build funds faster if you want to pick up certain items from vendors and don't have enough money.

Yeah it stated that you lose one less item, so maybe if you have 2 plus, you won't lose one of them, and 20% less DZ funds.
I would like to use it but the ones I have found drop my DPS and toughness so much it is not worth while.
It would make the bag more versatile, apart from the suck stats, if you could nominate the one item to be placed into the bag you do not want to lose and it remains safe until placed on the rope for extraction.

    Thanks for the feedback.

It appears the drops are random. Again I ran into a group of 4 rogues, was downed and lost the only 2 items in the extraction pouch. At least these 4 rogues were somewhat nice lol, I explained to them I was trying to figure out the Ninjabike pack so I didn't care if I went down. 1 guy in this group did say you need 3 items for the talent/perk to work.

So, the manhunt rogues let me pass when I walked in the gate and I told them I'd be back with more gear because I just wanted to figure out the talent on the pack. I came back with 4 items(purple & blue caches). I got downed and 2 items got 'publicly' dropped & 2 items were 'private' drops.

It appears the item drops are random not in the order I picked them up. It doesn't seem that this backpack is worth the use.
