Seriously at least in PVE the loot needs to be who killed the mob. I grow tired of scumbags stealing players loot. You are promoting Scumbag play in PVE. When its done to me i give up my play for that session and stick to the person who loot robed me ruining as much as the game as i can for him stealing his loot getting in his way etc. Its amazing how many scumbags play this game and i can see why people enjoy survival pvp prob less scumbags. But i dislike it and not why i play this game.
I am not understanding the Devs of this game it just seems like they promote the worst of bunch and this game is not short of scum makes me not want to play it anymore.
Mmmmm yeah, Pot calling the kettle Black it seems.Originally Posted by therapy99 Go to original post

I guess that's why they call it Survival, survival of the fittest, or in this case, the fastest or luckiest. Ubisoft/Massive's lack of solo player gameplay consideration is crazy. If you go in solo you should be able to hit all the loot whether someone got there before you or not. Forcing players to team up in order to simply complete a game mode is also crazy. Let me do it solo. The average player can't, yet, but might over time. I haven't made it to the DZ yet, much less extract anything. I've watched plenty of vids, but my issue is starting from scratch for EVERY SINGLE playthrough. 45 minutes to an hour in, I die, and have to start all over again. Eventually it just gets to be a bore-fest. I really want to enjoy this game mode but I can't. I always go back to playing something else due to sheer boredom.
It's sad that in most games these days the focus is on multiplayer, teaming up. It'll be an age old argument I guess. Survival was fun for maybe 40 mins. Same thing for UG. What this game needs is new PvE content, NOT more of the mind numbing, stale gameplay modes we have to repeat over and over again now.
I couldn't agree more... The PVE side of this game is only an after thought. If you are a PVE player and bought the Season Pass, it was truly a waste of money and time.Originally Posted by Force58 Go to original post

I respectfully disagree. My experience has been the opposite in PVE. I have never been able to extract when I PUG. I have ~ a 80% success every time I solo in survival in PVE. The problem with PUG in survival PVE is towards the end, once those hunters arrive at the extraction site. You see, that is the problem with PUGs in PVE...when you are running a large crew you have much less chances to have all the medicine to extend your gameplay and gear to last enough. As a result, you are mostly forced to fight X hunters at the end under geared.Originally Posted by Force58 Go to original post
If you are grouping in PVE, take teams of no more than 2 people and run separate routes. When your time is up, either match one strong member with a weak one and extract in two-member parties, or meet all four the end on the extraction site to fight all four hunters...At the end, you can tell that the only real purpose of having a four member crew is if a whole two-members party dies, the other party can go back to them to revive them (if the dead-party is lucky enough not to be sacked by other players first).
People also seem to miss the importance of medicine, I cant stress that enough. Each pill/medicine increases your time in X min, make sure you use those wisely to gather more medicine/and get closer to the dark zone. The other thing is people wander out of the dark zone far too long. You really only need around 20 min to get/craft a blue gun, craft a basic filter/pulse, and get urself into the DarkZone...that is where your time is less wasted. It doesn't matter if you still wear green gear, you only need a blue gun. Once in there, you must fight 2 red/one purple crews ONLY until you have enough to craft a HE weapon. Explore the entire dark zone, visit contaminated areas to get Div Techs, medicine and get into shelters to gather weapon, fabrics, and electronics parts...Build yourself a flare gun, bring your stamina to around 130K, DPS to about 55-65K and then go to fight bosses, and finally the hunter...With these stats, 10 min is more than enough to go to the extraction site, kill the hunter, and get out. The most important THING is this: IF YOU TAKE TOO MUCH TIME OUT OF THE DZ, YOU ARE ALLOWING OTHER PLAYERS TO GET THERE FIRST AND GET ALL THE DIVS TECHS AND PARTS, SO YOU HAVE MIN CHANCES TO GEAR UP TO FACE THE HUNTER. In this same note, if that is the case, and you find yourself not finding enough parts or Div techs on the DZ, then craft yourself purples weapons and as many purples gears as you can, and wait for the strong dudes that stole every part on the DZ to either die, or call an extraction...In these circumstances, that is your best chance to extract and get the hell out.
If anything, although at first glance it seems the opposite, I would have to say that the developers have favored solo-play (at least on PVE) for survival. I'd rather group up because I like to socialize and have the occasional laughs when either I or one of the guys on the group screws up, but then I also understand that in its core, survival may have been intended to address those of us who have been complaining so much about the solo-play being neglected.
Play PVP then that way you can kill them and get back your loot, its survival if your not fast enough to grab loot dont blame the player blame yourself.
To me PVP survival more fun and easier there's at least 5 people dying in the first 2 min fighting each other with pistol and that leave a big room to find loot.
