    PC Player question...

So I came late to the game in the Trials universe. Having never owned a new-gen consoles (latest was PS2) I discovered this franchise with Trials Frontier on my mobile (Android GR-318) and have since moved on to Evo and Fusion. I played with keyboard on both PC releases until I discovered that some tracks were impossible to complete with a keyboard, so I bought an Xbox1 controller. It has helped greatly, but now that I am facing Extreme tracks, it requires a LOT more precision. I've watched numerous playthroughs and leaderboard replays and try as I might, there are a lot of tricks I still can't perform with my controller. While these tracks are passable with 20-300 faults.. There are some maneuvers that I may still be limited by my USB port. That's the theory I'm going with anyway... does using an Xbox1 controller on a USB 2.0 port limit functionality? A lot of times it seems when I barely hold the RT, the back wheel flips from under me and when I barely tap the analog stick, I lunge forward as squirrel to a nest of acorns. The sensitivity does come in to play when I'm not holding other buttons, but when I'm trying extreme tactics, it seems to choose one button over the other.

In short, wondering if anyone else has experienced PC problems with an Xbox controller on a USB 2.0 port and I can rest assured that things will be better when I'm finally able to upgrade my MoBo, or am I just seriously lacking in skill.

Fusion with X1 controller on USB 2.0 works fine for me. But of course it can still be an issue caused by your mainboard... or some driver of another USB device... or... anything is possible on PC

I recommend using a skill game from track central called DUALSHOCK4 to verify if your inputs are registered correctly by the game. It was originally designed to check throttle values from triggers on PS4 controllers, but it works just as well for X1 controller sticks and triggers. Only some other buttons are not mapped correctly.
