    First, this game is not "team based". You can group up, but there are no "teams".

    Now, how exactly would you "exploit" this? So you'd consider PvP an "exploit" now? How would this "break the game" even more? And how is this more toxic than inviting someone to group then shooting him?

    On the contrary, eliminating the ability to form a group, thus removing group abilities and introducing friendly fire, will truly make the DZ what it is supposed to be. Eliminating the ability to form groups doesn't prevent anyone from running as a group, but you better be careful... trust no one...watch what/where you shoot... now that is a true dark zone.

    Sorry this is a team based game as a whole. You can run solo, and yes there are teams. Usually you find them in groups of 4. Ring any bells? Would you like me to prove teams exist with some screen shots?

    Eliminating the ability to form a group, removing any group abilities, like for example - the combat medic talent, or any type of support roles and introducing friendly fire will NOT " truly make the DZ what its supposed to be".

    Removing the 'roles' in a 'role-playing game' fixes nothing. The ability to kill our own team members will only add to further toxicity in game or on the forums as trolls will be trolls. If they have a chance to ruin the fun, believe me they will.

    Removing groups and introducing friendly fire, where anybody can turn on you would surely be the true DZ high risk place all these rogue pros keep telling us it is. You would also have to think, instead of mindlessly shooting through your team members. How this can make it any worse than it already is, is beyond me. Any teams I see look to be trolling anyway. I think I'm yet to see a team of 3 or 4 who don't just shoot on sight, which isn't how the DZ should be either.

    Removing groups is the best solution by far. EVERYBODY has to watch their backs. No safety net. Isn't that reintroducing the tension that is now non existent in the DZ?

    So where is the tension if everybody shoots on sight? And you've pulled the carebear quote out of the hat. If that's the case, you shouldn't be able to group up. It's not the ****ing carbear zone. Why do you need "friends" in there? Every person for themselves. That'd make you a true online gaming hero and you could brag to hearts content. Think about that. Wow.

    Seems like you really have a hard time in the dz with groups, how about get some friends and you might feel a little safer.

    My thoughts exactly, these solo players are as selfish as they come, They destroyed pve now they want to destroy the dz!

    Add a solo DZ and make an arena with the basics just like survival. No gear sets and basic items.

Or if they run, your team can simply wait for you to revive and be a group again without having to wait for you to respawn at safe house and run through mobs to get back to you meanwhile the opponents are long gone.

    All in all I jut believe the the PVP is too slow paced and feels tedious when you die and not smooth like other PVP games. You die 20 times in Battlefield 1 fine whatever but try dying 20 times in the division, really annoying and makes people give up and stop the PVP completely.

    They need to make it smoother and keep groups together and Fun and make cover proc your weapon talents and Med packs.

    Thoughts?

    Add weight to gear and weapons. Heavier gear you got the slower you move or even run. You carry 60 items all that weight should affect you vs someone running ten.

    Considering how the player count blew up after 1.4, I'm pretty sure they didn't destroy PVE. However, I do agree that it's just way too easy these days.

    As for the DZ, I agree, it needs to left as is and built upon from there. There is no need for a PVE only DZ and I honestly don't see why anybody would give a fck about it. Why would it matter to farm the DZ when there are some many more efficient ways outside of the DZ to get gear?
