    Simple FIX for fun DZ, thoughts?

    Hey guys. So I thought I should put a post about what I think can really make the DZ more Normal.

    First off, remove all armor rolls but not the Armor that is already on the gear piece. You wanna tank? Roll for Health.

    You can only use Med pack while in cover. And weapon talents only activate when in cover. Mobile cover becomes pretty good this way.

    When you get downed and die. You drop the usual stuff but instead of reloading to safe house you have a option to respawn right there where you died after 30 seconds. This would make dying less annoying and smoother gamepay skipping load screens. If your team is surviving and a 4 on 3 for 30 seconds, you would be able to revive there and join the fight again. Or if they run, your team can simply wait for you to revive and be a group again without having to wait for you to respawn at safe house and run through mobs to get back to you meanwhile the opponents are long gone.

    All in all I jut believe the the PVP is too slow paced and feels tedious when you die and not smooth like other PVP games. You die 20 times in Battlefield 1 fine whatever but try dying 20 times in the division, really annoying and makes people give up and stop the PVP completely.

    They need to make it smoother and keep groups together and Fun and make cover proc your weapon talents and Med packs.

    I think you are barking up the wrong tree and havent played in a good team, personally feel the game is very well paced with regard to dieing and fighting and can be super hectic and intense also if u die as rogue there is a penalty timer which forces your team to think about changing position or picking u up from cp or saferoom which adds a layer to the gameplay. A good team with those kind of spawns would basically be immortal and either side rogue or non would get super frustrated and it would be an even bigger cluster**** than it already is

    if movement speed was slower wouldn't charging and flanking becomes more dangerous and cover more attractive?

    if items had mass as a function of the items power and added to total player mass, and movement speed and acceleration was a function of player mass then lightly geared players could outrun heavily geared players. a player might toss their loot bag to increase movement speed.

    Nah, nah. Easier: turn on friendly fire within teams. It means that being aware of your position and all your teammates is critical, and the weaving and rolling typical of a DZ furball is suddenly not such a good idea.

    1. I agree that Damage mitigation needs to be lowered to about the 25-30% range inside the DZ only.

    2. I completely disagree with weapon talents and med kits being activated in cover only. There should be strengths and weaknesses to being in and out of cover but people should not be forced to do one or the other. Lowering damage mitigation by itself will make cover more appealing. No need to add other things and make this game into WW1 and trench warfare.

    I think cover should obviously help block incoming bullets, make your weapon be more stable and accurate.....and that should be about it.

    What people are failing to understand is if that happens then solo play in the DZ will disappear. 4 people groups will overrun solo players in cover so you have 2 choices

    1. Die

    2. Run....and be without your weapon talents.

    This has been my cry since the very beginning: eliminate teams, so friendly fire is a factor, no group wide buffs, no across the map communication, make it a true every man for himself, dog-eat-dog, trust no one environment is supposed to be.
