Greetings Agents!

During last week’s State of the Game we sat down with Terry Spier (Creative Director) and Keith Evans (Lead Game Designer) from Red Storm Entertainment to talk about PVP in The Division. This week we are looking at what’s happening before the holiday season!
For everything discussed on the stream this morning, check out the VOD below or listen to it as a podcast!

There was a maintenance this morning to perform the usual duties and deploy two fixes.

  • Fixed an issue that could unexpectedly lead to long queuing times when match making in a group for Survival.
  • Fixed a bug where Larae Barrett's loot would get stuck on the Balcony. Now if she is killed on the Balcony, the loot will spawn by the player.

We are celebrating this holiday season with 2 Pom Pom Beanies, one Red and one Green. Log in any time between December 23rd-31st and visit the rewards claim vendor to pick them up!

The Elite Task Force invites were sent out earlier this week! Make sure you check the email you signed up with to see if you have been selected. Similar to the first ETF, we have selected a variety of profiles to make sure we consider all perspectives when making any changes to PVP and the Dark Zone.

Additionally, we’ve set up an all new email for you to send your Fan Art, Gameplay Highlights, Cosplay, and anything The Division related to be potentially featured on the State of the Game!

We aren’t ready to start talking about Update 1.6 just yet as we are keen to hear what the Elite Task Force has to say, however that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t provide us with your thoughts! If you have anything that’s been rummaging around your head, please visit the forums and let us know!

As we head into the holidays, this is the final State of the Game for 2016. We want to thank everyone for sticking with us and being awesome throughout the year! We can’t wait to see what 2017 brings.

Connectivity Issues

Following the release of Survival for PS4, we’ve received a number of connectivity issues reports. We have resolved several of them and continue to investigate any new ones that pop up. If you continue to experience connectivity issues, in particular if you are stuck on connecting to the game, please get in contact with Ubisoft Support.

Until next time,

The Division Dev Team
