i;'ve noticed recently that the game difficulty changes due to weather or not i play solo,if i group, the NPC's become much harder but if i'm playing solo they're much easier,i find this really annoying since i can't test my builds solo (in real time) before i group up,i'd rather the game maintain a constant difficulty level so i don't get confused by the sudden decrease in stats "most notably" damage output.
Anyone else find this frustrating and agree that difficulty should be consistent?

Anyways, Solo scaling doesn't need to be touched right now... actually, never again. Because what you're wanting is the game to return to 1.3. Your stats don't decrease or increase when you play solo or with a group, NPCs just gain and lose health, respectively. Just matchmake Lexington, it's a quick testing ground.
They have to do that to an extent, you have 1-3 more people up to a max of 4 fighting the same amount of enemies,
If they stayed at the solo difficulty for a group of 4 they would fall over just looking at them and their wouldn't really be a point to playing-(unless you really like super easy content)
The alternative is keeping it at 4 man group difficulty for a solo player and that turns into good luck killing anything. (This actually has been done where some one starts a mission in a 4 man and then just runs the mission solo to face more difficult enemies) But for the average player who logins and and wants to play it is apperantly to hard.
I think the missions scale off of how many people are in the group from solo to 4
