    Have you deleted the entire game and then downloaded/installed it again? That worked for me, but I'm on Xbox.

    Try to turn on administrator account in windows (properities on your computer icon/ manage / users / administraton unlock)
    and log on administrator then try to play
    on hardware without problems (100% working PC) should work.

    On PC you do not need do it and I guess that is no need on XBox too.

    PC Uplay and Steam clients have possibility to check game integrity. It will scan your local files and comare them to files on server. If there is some differences, only changed files will be downloaded.

    Integrity check is esential when you solving some persistent issue with game.
