Please consider long hair and facial modeling for Men and Women

Hello I am new I bought the Gold Edition of this game 2 weeks ago, current presets for women are bad and ugly I was atleast expecting a facial modeling tool to adjust how the character would look but upon buying this game I was immediately disappointed.

I was expecting to be able to create a Lara Croft looking character in this game but to my disappointment there was no such tool to do so. I thought to myself well no worries I will go to the store and buy a better looking character but there was none just ugly costumes and only costumes designed for male characters.

I thought to myself ok maybe I can get long hair for my character, there was none. So i went to the store page hoping to buy one as a microtransaction and there was none.

I was like maybe there are fitted jeans but there was none, all pants look identical to how it looks on males.

So to Ubisoft I speak for a lot of other people, we will happily pay for customizing female characters further I personally think these basic things should have been included in the game but if I have to pay for it I will happily pay for it. I get that MOBA games has spoiled me with cosmetics as nearly every cosmetic in Heroes of Newerth is a epic legendary looking skin. Transitioning to this game where cosmetics were bland and ugly was hard.

It would also be cool to buy a complete Lara Croft DLC for this game but if that was to happen we would need a tool to vanish the ugly looking armor pieces. The same tool in Diablo 3 where you can make certain armor pieces disappear while still having all its benefits of being equipped. These are for asthetic purposes.

And please no trolls allowed in this thread if you feel the need to lecture me about how long hair is unrealistic and that we can press V in real life and cure diabetes since the Division is apparently not a video game, I have heard it already so please keep those opinions to yourself. I am proposing an idea for cosmetics that does not affect anyone's gameplay in any shape or form.

Also It's not necessarily about makeup or supermodels. The female characters are downright ugly. They don't even look like a typical human female. They look like some new gender that Ubisoft made up which is a cross between a male and a female and a chimpanzee.

Someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Tell me that Ubisoft has plans on addressing this.

No. It is Lara Croft who doesn't look like a typical human female. The characters in TD do look like normal human beings, roaming around a disaster area.

This is not that type of game.

Not if it's DLC. Work on getting the game in working order first.

Also, long hair. I'm a guy. I have long hair IRL. It needs to apply to BOTH genders or I'm flipping tables.

One of the asians, (not the first one when you go thru inventory of faces) looks cute with a hat on. And the dark blonde that gets the ponytail. They look alright.

Aah yes the typical 12 year old snotty nose jerk who hijacks a thread with links to hyper sexualized korean games when he sees a topic asking about something very basic like character modeling feature in a game or additional hair styles. The typical troll that is somehow not banned for breaking forum rules and who

    A) Denies that Lara Croft looks like a woman even though Europe and India has lots of women who look even better than her. Or claims Lara Croft doesn't look like a typical human as if somehow Lara Croft is a NPC in Tombraider. Since when did I ever say typical humans in The Division should look like her? I never asked for NPCs to look like her i specifically asked for her or someone like her as a main DLC playable character.

    B) Claims better looking females with long hair isn't realistic because we all know its all about hitting that V button in Real Life to cure that diabetes or bullet wound and hitting that T button to revive your grandparents who just died from old age or car accident. Everybody knows The Division represents that real life New York so well doesn't it?

    C) Starts crying about COD, Bikinis, Barbie Dolls even though nobody ever mentions these things.

You got to love these dishonest jerks who come into these threads to troll even though I specifically told them to keep out. He didn't insult us by saying this isn't COD or Barbie but he came close and he is the usual suspect who does it.

    Nice rant, but:

    I am 51. (shouldn't this be A )?

A ) I didn't "deny Lara Croft looks like a woman". I clearly stated that Lara Croft (well, the toon known as Lara Croft) doesn't look like a typical human female.

B ) Citing game mechanics and saying "they are not realistic either" is a false equivalency. The way the characters look very much goes with the environment the game attempts to portray, that is, the environment in a major city ravished by an epidemic, and a special government agent attempting to restore order in said environment.

C ) I did not cry about anything, did not mention COD, bikinis, or Barbie dolls. Nice retraction, BTW.

This happens to be a forum. Do you know what a forum is? What makes you think you can tell people specifically to keep out of any thread?

    Obviously, I hit a nerve.

You are a very vile and dishonest person you are living proof that they come in all shape, age and size.

You believe that only you have an opinion that should be listened to and to get your way you shout down at others, derail and hijack threads.

Nice try at picking and choosing which part of my post to quote but the proof is right there I edited my post way before you posted this, fact of the matter is anyone viewing this thread can see what you are attempting to do.

You specifically stated Lara Croft does not look like an average woman when nobody on earth is claiming that NPCs and all the average woman in The Division should look like her. I said make her a playable DLC, what on earth does this have to do with your post?

Your post is living proof of how vile and nasty people in this world can be. I made a heart felt plea to the developers to provide us with either tools or DLC to correct this problem in a game I deeply enjoy and am passionate about. And instead you decide to make troll posts this is why I told you to stay out, you are not posting anything constructive you are derailing this thread. You have no right to be breaking the forum rules.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with giving us more hair styles or a basic character creation tool so we can customize our characters a little more.

A vanishing tool is also welcomed to make certain armor pieces disappear like the chest that blocks out all the DLC outfits making them pointless. Diablo 3 has a similar tool.

Jesus Christ OP sounds like a right spoilt whiny brat who's having a temper tantrum. Just because someone disagreed with you doesn't mean there vile etc etc.

In fact the way you responded males you vile. As for "hammer" his points are valid.

The reason we don't have hyper sexualized female characters running around in bikinis, or have "transmog" is because the developers wanted to create a real world feel and have tried to keep the aethetics in line with that.

What hammer said was true Lara Croft wasn't designed to look like a normal everyday female. Furthermore Lara Croft look even less like a special forces agent who'd have undergone a lifetime of harsh training to become a division agent.

There in is your answer btw the reason why we don't have what you asked for is,there's no way a highly trained and skilled division operative would be running around with hair makeup etc all done up like a pretty picture you seem to wet dream over
