Does anyone else find it disappointing that for a game that is forever stuck in Christmas we have no holiday events or rewards for the players?
Personally I want to see a Bad Santa NPC that has exclusive drops and a chance for named items. Lock him to world tier 5 and guard him with Hunters named after reindeer. He could even be added as an elite daily high value target with a zero intel requirement just to control his spawn.
Thoughts?
Oh, well, my information was wrong, not sure why that would offend me, though,Originally Posted by Hiero_Glyph Go to original post
But even so, three weeks after Black Friday doesn't really mean it falls directly on Christmas.
Where are you getting 3 weeks from? Anyway the game is permanently decorated for Christmas and you seem to think that not having a holiday event is justified because you think it happened the week before Christmas and not on Christmas day?Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
You better tell Blizzard and Bungie then because they seem to think those games can have holiday events. I'm just pointing put the irony of not having anything for a game that always looks like Christmas.
Wait a minute, slow down.Originally Posted by Hiero_Glyph Go to original post
When did I say there shouldn't be an event? Or did you just convince yourself that that's what I was thinking?

Well i think its even more important to notice that the environment doesn't evolve in any way shape or form even after you so called defeat the main guy in the story it doesn't change anything, not even any dialog. I mean even in the batman series once you beat the game and bosses it changes parts of the environment and most certainly NPC dialog in the game so it feels evolved as you still move around the city working on other things in the game. Its just a shame the game is completely unfinished in that sense and that beating the game so to speak had 0 impact on how the game feels and looks in areas. This is supposed to be a living, breathing environment but its not, its a stagnant city where it just snows harder something but otherwise doesn't change a single bit and i don't know about you but that's not very immersive in a game. I guess for me the city for me is just stale and it would have been nice to see them take the effort to make the environment react to everything you do but instead it just re spawns showing no signs that anything even happened there 5 minutes ago. I mean simple things like hacking into there communications and hearing them radio that there under attack and need reinforcements or whatever to make you feel like this is a real time city that always changes and evolves based on everything you do, just my two cents.Originally Posted by Hiero_Glyph Go to original post
