If Im stupid or careless enough to go down, I actually want people to take my stuff, so hopefully it doesnt go to waste and all my effort for nothing. I hope it helps them to a successful extraction. Matter of fact whether Im in PVE or PVP mode ( I play both) i leave my heart monitor beacon on the whole 4 minutes to signal that I have stuff and to come and get it and finish me off. Sometimes Im lucky and I get revived, both in PVE and PVP ! and for that im grateful but I never expect it.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
Didn't you hear that you can get downed by agents in there though!Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
Its only when youre in the "downed" state and you have no medkit to get you back up. or youre in the 4 minute timer and no chance to revive yourself anymore anyways. ( another player or teammate can revive but its at the cost of their medkit)Originally Posted by Nopvedz4you Go to original post
I know mate was just making fun of the pve crowd. No way am I wasting a med kit on another player, especially when he has things that will benefit me.Originally Posted by IKILLAUNOW03 Go to original post
This is why you do your best to never go down.Originally Posted by Nopvedz4you Go to original post

LOL ! One night I was literally past my bedtime and I had gone thru my medicines and all the spots where i knew more were already were taken, I had no time left to make it to my anti virals and extraction and I wasnt satisfied with my gear, I went down, hoping praying someone would put me out of my misery and carry on gifted with my things, I just wanted to go to bed cause my session was ****ty and I couldnt keep my eyes open, Someone did find me. I got upset he revived, me, lol. my timer gave out and I caved in to the sepsis a few minutes later.. Most often than not, I DO want them to put me out. I prefer a fresh start the next time around.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
Same here and I expect the same from anyone who comes across me if I'm down.Originally Posted by Nopvedz4you Go to original post
There is no solo survival mode.
You can choose PVP or PVE. You will still sit in a que waiting for players to join the map and when it hits UBisofts number it will launch. Not sure if the map requires a full 24 or just a "Pert near" number to start.
Even In PVE players can finish you off and take your stuff once an NPC downs you, or you can revive them if their timer is not up, though why having a PVP mechanic in PVE mode is a question for scholars and the universe at large.
But, for the OP, there is no true solo mode. You will always be with other players regardless of whether it is PVP or PVE.
This is a moot point for me, extracted once, the game mode is dead, nothing to do in it anymore.

you kill a boss and some ******* is waiting over the corner to rush in and steal your survival cache
It only follows the story if you were grouped ahead of time-Nothing says you cant do it, it flows with the concept of group survival's story (i mean there's what 6-8 people on the chopper when it goes down your supposed to be on the same team right?)
The matchmaking puts groups with groups and solo players with other solo players, It is intended that if you intend to run as a group you que as a group, Otherwise why would they make the matchmaking work this way.
The Devs haven't come out and said It's not supposed to work that way as far as I know- however it would have taken less time and effort on their part to not configure any type of match making, the fact that they had some one set it up to put solo players with solo players, and groups with groups shows the intent.
