    Survival is so F* stupid

So I spawned in the East of the map and right from the get-go I was surrounded by elite LMB - up to twelve with regular foot-soldiers. So I avoided them only to be reminded that I had to find medicine, therefore forced to go into buildings swarmed with NPC of the elite kind. Didn't stand a chance.

Why do we spawn near elite NPCs right from the beginning of the game? This is so F* stupid! No wonder that stats show that so few players make it to the DZ...

You start in a safehouse, impossible to be surrounded. mobs spawn randomly all over from red to elites, the snow is blinding enough at the beginning you can usually not be seen. So many people cant adjust from how strong they feel in the normal game to back to a near naked fresh 30 state. Survival is almost easy outside the Dark Zone for experienced Survival players and sometimes too easy in the Dark Zone once gold geared and weaponed. Keep trying or find a friend to go with. If you play on PC hit me up and be glad to go over some pointers/strats with you.

Pay more attention to your surroundings simple as that, I have yet to have a Survival game were I didn't make it into the DZ and called an extraction.

Yeah similarly think the entire concept is moronic, survived easily enough, but in the first game encountered a yellow level 29 Riker, the fat guy with grenades by the score, he launched a grenade, it landed and instantly exploded, no f..k..g chance to avoid it, so 30 minutes work unravelled by a part of the division that I hate with a passion, grenadiers who launch spam by the ton with the occasional deadly, land, boom, you're dead grenade.
The second game, survived well until I got to the area near the DZ, ran out of medicine and pain killers and could not for the life of me find anything, died shortly after entering the DZ hoping to find something somewhere.
Did not enjoy the concept, the setting or the environment, won't be running it very often that's for sure.
Much preferred if they spent the time and energy giving some further life to the current LZ with new missions, new factions, new tasks and some decent traders who sell what you need.
My main character has 145 million dollars and there is not a f..k..g thing to buy any where from any one.
Why do DZ traders pay you in general funds for s..t found in the DZ but want DZ funds for any thing you buy.
I have so much general dollars but the traders only sell crap in Phoenix dollars.
God this game has such promise but honestly how have massive survived 30 years, but do the crap things to this game they do, with no idea what to do for end game content, 2 stupid repetitive DLC's in Underground and now survival.

Elites carry around flashlights and have an easier time seeing because of this compared to other mobs. There are many patrolling but you are able to avoid them with precise movement and sometimes you need to take out enemies if you want to make it to certain areas.

Do not attack others who are trying to provide assistance and advice please.

I'm pretty much in this category also
only did not extract 2 times in PVE survival- once because I made a really stupid mistake, and the second because I didn't realize that the hunters can hack your turret(not all can but some of them do)

Any one running solo struggling with groups of enemies really needs to look at making the turret.

I personally prioritize making the Turret over first aid or med station- it basically tanks for you (gota let it start shooting before you shoot) and it does damage. Then later when you want to extract you can make another skill if you don't want to worry about it getting hacked by a hunter. I usually just use the turret on them anyway but make sure I place it in a location that should it get hacked I'm still in cover from it.

I see a lot of people post about not wanting to do or liking survival because its to hard/frusterating and then on the other side I personally and a some other people I know stopped doing it(and the game) because it is too easy and basically the same thing each time.

Some one... cough cough* Gabelikes* cough ... needs to figure out why there is such a huge divide in this game as far as difficulty goes. Obviously player ability is a factor, some people are just better at certain games and games styles but from reading the forums it seems to be more than that, maybe controller vs keyboard/mouse, the game shouldn't hold peoples hand but maybe a slightly in depth tutorial for newer players on game mechanics/ stat prioritization.

I'm sure Ubi/Massive have already been looking into this I just wanted to give Gabelikes a hard time with the comment above

Also I'm not trying to crap on people who think its to hard or frusterating, I personally just would like it to be more challenging(with a better reward), promote group play more (way easier to do survival Solo in PVE like 100% easier) I just can't see how they can make both groups of people happy.

Survival is a very cerebral game mode. You need to patient, calculated and aware with an attitude of urgency. Its not for everyone. With that being said, you say you spawned near 12 elite enemies?
That doesn't sound possible based on my experience playing on XB1. The design of the game mode is to start you near weaker enemies & have elites mostly near the DZ. I think you're trolling.

This forum is filled with them, it represents a huge failure in public education.

Like when I made a thread asking for some basic character creation tool for Division and maybe some added hair styles possibly longer hair styles.

Suddenly out of nowhere an idiotic moronic imbecile came and started to rant and rave about how this game is not about Bikinis and Barbie Dolls and he was posting links to Korean sexualized games.

I said to myself, is public education really this bad? Hopefully Trump can address it.

I hate that lightzone isnt full of landmarks and you need to run to much from one landmark to other and then find other players cleaning them already.
I hate that all players spawn in one corner and then you get to run empty streets and cleared landmarks.

Plus when you start you cant set even a waypoint on a full map cause these landmarks wont be opened when you have not been close or someone on the map have been close to them.

I usually wont extract when this game starts to lag hardcore or character freeze but otherwise i dont have problem finishing the survival mode.
This lags and character freezing make it even harder and tbh would be nice if these hunters in the end would dropp survival cache and not the usual that you get from random box on the dz.

PVE solo it's a lot easyer then when your with a group where you need to share everything and there for need to play and waist a lot more time to gear up.
Especially with the low drop rate that mode have and the useless crap the bots drop. When my gear is mostly blue and few purple then i expect to get only purple items from drops but still get useless greens.

The loot that is dropped by bots in DZ even give mostly these useless cache's that you get from everywhere anyways.
They need to rise the drop rate of the loot you can wear in this sruvival mode cause even when you get your Gs to 163 you dont feel verry strong versus bots in DZ to take on landmarks when these bots rush you and you cant stay in cover more then 5 seconds and you cant fall back a lot to cause then other bots from cross roads come in from your 6.

I have no problem taking down hunters but the loot they give is useless to pick up. I only pick them up when i am in extraction and my bag isnt full and i dont aim for master rank.
For master rank you need to take down at least 2 landmarks in lightzone and at least 2 landmarks with named boss in DZ.
