Malwarebytes detects CMD Malware exploit from Blood Dragon (False positive?)

Ever since I started up Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon for the first time a CMD appears every time I boot up the computer and at the same time Malwarebytes detects and blocks a CMD malware exploit. Why is this happening and is there any way to stop the CMD from popping up every time? Is Malwarebytes detecting a false positive and preventing Blood Dragon from completing some legitimate and not-virus process?

Hey MadDemon65, this sounds like the same issue these users are having. Are you able to verify that it's the cp_manual.bat file that's giving you trouble? And did you download the game directly from Uplay?

For the moment, we're asking that users whitelist the batch file. This is the first time I've heard about Malwarebytes pinging the game, though. If you have any more info, I can pass it along. Otherwise, I'll let the team know what you've posted above.

I have no idea how to check if the manual.bat is responsible, but yes I did indeed download it directly from Uplay. I also installed Assassin's Creed III, Rayman Origins, Splinter Cell, Beyond Good and Evil, and Child of Light; Blood Dragon is the only one to have this problem.

I looked at the thread and I don't have kaspersky or any of the other antiviruses people mention.
