Basically I was in map mode and for some reason I used the helicopter to take me to a location I never discovered, (there were lines accross it) idk why but it spawned me ontop, and I was falling for a few seconds until the game froze, and I had to close it with cntrl alt delete..

After that I tried re opening it, and it gets stuck at "Loading, please wait... (3/3)" for an infinite amount of time, I've reinstalled it and it does the same, I even tried installing it on a different computer and I get the exact same thing.

It's possible this came from the weird glitch above, I really don't know how to fix this, so I could really use some help please....

Hey AstronautAnt, sorry to hear about the glitch you encountered. I would highly suggest you submit a ticket over to Ubisoft Support. When you do submit your ticket, be sure to include your game's files, so the team can diagnose and resolve the issue.

I'm starting to get pretty irritated, I paid 80 freakin dallars for this game and it won't launch because of the most petty GLITCH

I just want to play through the game and play with my friends, why does this happen to me? It's so damn unfair.

The game failing to load is probably the servers being unable to retreive your characters position on the map due to the glitch you discribed.

problem is your position in game is tied to your Uplay account, so a new account would probably fixx it.. but you'll lose your games.

with a non always online game you could delete your save game yourself.. for now your only option is to hope that somebody at the ubisupport has a good day and feels like reseting your progressions in the game^^

Infinite Air? At least you're ready with the jokes on Monday morning Trials... Anyways, I posted last night on this but can't see my post for some reason. This is probably the most game breaking bug and much larger than most of the complaints on here. It could be fixed so easily! If the above poster is right and the game is just trying to find your character on the map, the easy fix would be to drop the player in the starting Aravis region if the game fails a series of checks.

"Delete the Savegame folder in your Uplay installation directory (the only game that puts a save here is Steep).
Delete the Steep folder from your Documents.
In Uplay, disable save game syncing with the cloud.

Try to play. Your save will still be there.

It's worked for me and a few other people that have been stuck in the same position"
