switched to DX12. Launcher crashes, game doesn't load.

After I enabled DX12, I applied settings and read the dialog box that informed me I needed to restart the game in order for the settings to take effect.

I shut down the game, reloaded... CRASH. Reboot the machine, reloaded the game... CRASH.

Now I can't get into the game to turn off DX12. How do I disable DX12 from outside the game?

    [SOLVED]
EDIT: If you're comfortable editing the settings file you can turn off DX12 and reload your game.
    1) open file @ C:\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\Tom Clancy's The Division\GFXSettings.TheDivision.exe.xml
    2) find line 14 in the XML file @ <OPTION Name="DirectX 12" Registered="True" Type="Bool" Value="true" />
    3) set true to false @ <OPTION Name="DirectX 12" Registered="True" Type="Bool" Value="false" />
    4) save and reload the game.

The Division 2 DX12 game launch error

i have DX12 card but for some reason it work run with DX12 enabled

so the error started after i turned on DX12 to try get a better frame rate the game no longer started.
So after bit of searching i found the answer.

In order to change it back to DX11 and start the game like normal do the following.

    goto "Users"
    then "(USERNAME)
    then "Documents"
    then "my games"
then "Tom Clancy's The Division 2"

now look for a file called "State.cfg"

Edit this file (if you not sure about this get help) in the section marked "graphics" you should see"DX12 = true"
changes the word "true to "false" it should say "DX12 = false"
save the file and restart game.
That should restart it in DX11 and work.

JUST REMEMBER if your not sure about editing game files GET HELP.
    Hope this helps others.
