a minor gripe+ an idea that will prob never happen

its a minor gripe, but I wish I could make any hero a male. I know what you're thinking "historically men woulnt have filled the valkyrie roll" BUT historically women wouldn't have been knights.

Had an idea for a 4th faction... Pirates! it would be awesome, but with the way games are developed, all the dlc is probably wrapped up already.

could you imagine tho? tridents, whaling hooks, boarding axes, and cutlasses.

I'm always on board for pirates. They're basically more high-tech vikings. Not as cool as vikings though, but almost.

I agree with the first part.

I was super happy when i saw the peacekeeper... A REAL "rouge" character, finally. But when i launch the game and see the fact that the male option is greyed out i get frustrated trying to click it. I then see that most other classes i checked had both options available so i went here looking for others who were mad about this.
For me, this is not a minor issue. Im furious that i will be forced to play an effing weeaboo again instead of a male peacekeeper, sorry but i want a male character plain and simple.
And because ubisoft is ubisoft, and have probably already created, and finished the models. I guess this wont ever change. I feel like you would come with the argument that its about being historically correct, but is really a world where a threeway between samurai, knights and vikings historically accurate? I get the valkyrie sort of but please.

    Unlocking Characters Unlocks Customisation

As far as I can tell, each and every class can be male or female. To access the option for any class apart from the starting three you must first unlock them for 500 coins.

You're not the only one trying to get pirates into the game. May come useful: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...k-of-doubloons!

I cannot see how this game could exist without pirates!

In my opinion, I think Male or Female versions of all characters would be really cool and fair to everyone. Even Shugokis.
