Question is are they all trash or are they like everything else, that you can get god rolls that make them the best in the game. So 1% chance to get a 1% chance to get the world's greatest weapon/gear piece in the game. I have only seen the skull gloves and they have had the worst rolls, can't sell them. So crafting materials it is.

I'm surprised that, even knowing the named items like the vest are average, ppl are still doing Lexington 100+ times to get it, for example ( and with a pretty good chance of trash stats ). You know the carrot is rotten but you still chase it....

I would understand if those drops were some awesome pieces of equipment or if they were some cool outfits, inspired by First Wave or LMB, cleaners or rioters. But just for an average vest, doing same thing all over, it's not worth it.
At least if the instances were dynamic with random enemies and spawns....
I agree with you regarding Showstopper, Thompson, MDR and Ninjabike backpack. But Shortbow pads are awesome. How can't you see that?!
And regarding " yellow build" and " really bored" - what kind of gear set are you running? Im guessing Alpha Bridge, Striker or Predator ? That is really boring! We have those sets from 1.3.

Hahahahahaha, good one. Reminded me of the time I was solo'ing a Nightfall in Destiny and trying to get the Gally. My buddy joined me as the strike was nearing the end. He was in the game for 15 seconds before he got killed. I finished the game about 3 minutes later where he promptly got his Gally. I was speechless, my buddy goes, "hey, I got another piece of crap weapon", not knowing what it was.....

I don't mind that much. Yeah I wish they were higher but still doable. The problem I have is when Massive said they would remove restrictions from mission activities so a player could go and do what they wanted and have a chance to drop the item they are after. Golden Rhino from Dragons Nest mainly, Urban MDR from survival. I get they want to give incentives for players go there and play all kinds of things but what if something is what the player is absolutely not interested?

I find myself feeling shame that I'd practically need to go to play Survival if I want a meaningful chance of getting the Urban MDR, a gun for my support build secondary I have waited for a long time; even though I have absolutely no desire to pay Survival personally. Obviously this is my personal choice and my problem, so those who are salty can be pleased to know I recognize it as well,. But I don't think it is generally a good idea for a designer to gate content in this way. People should want to do activities for the sake of wanting to do them, not because they offer a somewhat realistic chance of getting an item type they want. Too many times I see this mistake being replicated, and unfortunately this is yet another one of them.

Barrets and Skulls can be really good with the right rolls.

Championship pads are good for certain situations.

Showstopper is only good if you can stack it with Striker, Commanding...to extend tac link as much as possible.

Urban MDR...there's no saving it no matter the rolls. Shoots to slow, damage is too low, very unstable. Semiautomatic weapons should be laser beams and its not.

In my opinion outside of Pahkan every single named weapon needs a rework. I kinda like Caduceus...it was broken in a good way and they nerfed it into oblivion.

they need to keep the named stuff low drop rate, rare is rare , if you do not want it so be it , not ever piece of gear should be free. And those named pieces work amazing on DZ builds. It balancing out the Counters and Strike stuff. the meta builds solo people might try out in the DZ,

Now if there smart they start making the named gear , counter the meta builds better , instead nerfing across the board , this way , those that think they got a meta , runs into those with great named gear , well the meta will lose.

So then you can make teams start to actually work together and see who can counter what for the DZ.

As for PVE it PVE any build can work there. With all the hand me outs.

Not everyone team in Darkzone streams it or youtubes some those builds, for months, so they can have fun with there friends.

1000 hours of playing since first moment of game release. 9 named items for all that time: 2 Caduceuses, 1 Tenebrae, 1 Midas, 1 Showstooper and 4 ****ty SkullMC gloves. Loot of Gods.

Yesterday, during another Lexisprint that woman was nice enough and dropped 4 items. 1 green, 2 yellows and... and... and 1 purple ****ty gloves

Are you, F*****G, serious!!!??? Tier 5, challenge mission, boss drop - PURPLE ITEM??? Why that **** presents in droplist at all???

Seriously, it's maybe funny, but, personnaly, I'm really losing motivation to continue playing after such things.
