0.14% Drop Chance On Named Weapons & Named Gear - Seriously Massive?

Wow, Massive. I expected the drop chances on named gear and named weapons to be at least at 1%. Sad that these items that are not even really worth it (like the Urban MDR) don't even have a 1% drop chance. Is that your plan to keep people playing your game. Let me just quick remind you that most of the content we are playing right now to get some of these items have been there since almost a year, and players have played them hundreds if not thousands of times without even the smallest difference. How can you even place a named weapon exclusive to Underground when literally nobody is playing the game mode, because it wasn't fun for most people and felt like a chore. The Underground needs a change. Instead of only adding exclusive loot with ridiculously low drop chances to the drop tables, you should start refreshing the old content. For instance, add Hunters to Underground. Bring back the "party room" from the beginning. Add checkpoints to every beginning of a phase. And for the love of god, please change the directives, they're are not fun neither are they engaging. They're just there to completely screw you over. I know that Field Proficiency Caches can drop some of the named weapons and gear too, but the chances of getting any named gear or weapon from them is almost 0.

0.14% chance is for Field Proficiency cache, not for missions which have 1% chance for specific named gear and so... I guess that Underground caches have better chance to drop Urban MDR, but anyway, who cares.

You can farm like hell for some piece of gear and do not get any as RNG says NO. So I do not push to any named content, but sometimes it will drop. I play content which is fun to play for me, not content which provides specific gear. Anyway you maybe do not like UG, but I like it, I like it much more than Survival becouse iit have small time requirements. UG restrictions are fine. if you like them, use them, if you dont like restrictions, you do not need to activate any. From patch 1.4 I usually activate only ammo restriction as now we all have tons of ammo and TTK is shorter so I do not need empty few mags into one NPC, usually I kill few with one mag.

All down to RNG. Same like throwing a coin having a 50% chance to get a side you want, but instead get 1000 times the oposite side. Having 1% chance from the drop itself is so low that statisticly it can take years before you get it, but then you have people like my friend that got it on his first run without even knowing what that was.

Random is random. I've got the Thomson and ShortBow Championship pads from Field catches. As for MDR isn't that a survival exclusive drop?

    Drop Chance is whatever....

The real kicker is that every single one of them are not even worth it. Maybe Barret chest, but I would still rather have a vigerous chest piece that I can mid/max. Named gear should be game changing yet we get the Ninja Backpack and Urban MDR.....both are trash.

The best named weapon in the game is Pahkan and they pretty much give it to you.

somehow the "loot chance" so low reminds me of D3 vanilla when u announced a party when a Legendary drops
bcs it was so rare (once or twice a week IF u were lucky.then they introduced Loot 2.0 which made loot rain, which was very much better.
But in D3 vanilla tht legendary was ALWAYS better than all other stuff regardless if it has main stat u actually needed.
Ubi may look a bit further in tht directions as they did the whole TD process and @ least make those named drops roll godly.
i guess everybody can use chc,chd and hok.and if u know the stats before its more worth to farm for a better gearpiece so to say.
lemme guess tht ubi try to solve this with another gearscore rise soon which u can farm for(same crap but higher numbers, ubi loves this) -again..sigh
0.14% is quite a bit low i think, but 1% on proficiency cache is the same joke.why u refuse to give us the gear we paid for?
u really expect me to grind for weeks and then finally get it ...maybe....when i have it...u change GS great move

    sayonara

PS or is my chance to drop those named lower bcs i dont own latest DLC?? if so tht sux
cannot obtain survival cache due to tht which makes my dropchances even lower, like 0.1% ?? ty ubi

Exactly. Showstopper, Thompson, MDR, are all trash. Same goes for Ninja backpack and the short bow championship pads. Barret chest is average at the most and the skull gloves may worth it for a "yellow" build if you are really that bored.

I'm surprised that, even knowing the named items like the vest are average, ppl are still doing Lexington 100+ times to get it, for example ( and with a pretty good chance of trash stats ). You know the carrot is rotten but you still chase it....

I would understand if those drops were some awesome pieces of equipment or if they were some cool outfits, inspired by First Wave or LMB, cleaners or rioters. But just for an average vest, doing same thing all over, it's not worth it.
At least if the instances were dynamic with random enemies and spawns....

Out side of bragging rights what does it matter.. the Named weapons are so far pathetic when it comes to damage vs random drops.. There not even on par with random drops in most cases.. the MDR is near dead if not dead last in damage has stupidly high recital bloom and short range for a semi-auto rifle.. the Thompson doesn't allow anything but mag mods.. and is unstable as hell.. why don't these guns come with built in front grips? hell they should add front grips and allow improved iron site mods if you can added extended mags with out changing the in game gun model you can do the same from other gun parts... over all the named weapons are for epeen and bragging rights.. not in game use..

Yup, it's imo the ONLY good named weapon and shows the regular RPK's are in need of a buff imo.

I always thought of the Pakhan as a way for new players to get a leg up in PvE when they're struggling.
