Ok let me just say I have already stopped playing this game for like 2 weeks now. But I just really want to know if this is it for the next at least 3 months?
Update 1.5 literally got boring in the first week. There was literally nothing added to the game at all to keep people playing. It's a bit mind blowing to see how lack luster survival dlc was even with it getting delayed for like 3 months. I just can't understand why everything they do for this game is always separate from the base game.
Why does the base game never receive any new activities like public events, new missions, quests, etc... why has nothing changed since ever.
The only thing to do in this game is to run the same story missions over and over and really theres only 1 reasonable one to run over and over and its Lexington.
This game lacks content and activities so hard.
And also what are we supposed to even do. Honestly this game is nothing but just looting the same stuff over and over.
Savage, astute gloves
Reckless, vigorous chestplates
Etc...
There is literally no variety in this game to justify playing for loot if everything you get will just be the same stuff over and over.
Theres absolutely nothing in this game to strive for. Name 1 gun in this game that people feel they must have. Name 1 gun in this game thats super unique and makes you feel special that you obtained it. There's nothing. Most rpg keep you playing to try and obtain that one weapon thats super rare and no one has one. But none of that exists in this game every gun is exactly the same the only thing you hope for is good talents. Which really isn't hard to come by.
Whats the point of making different builds if in the end it still doesn't change the experience its literally the samething again. Also theres no point in making multiple builds cause in the end you're only going to use 1 anyways so whats the point.
And ontop of all that why should I grind for multiple builds if they will just become useless in time.
All in all you can literally see there is no reason to play this game at all. Its really showing that the player base has already dropped off again. Matchmaking times are getting longer. You see less people in safehouses. Less people running darkzone. Steam Charts has showed that this game has already lost over half the playerbase again since 1.5 dropped. It used to be up to 20k players now its down to like 8k now and constantly dropping. and why because theres nothing to do and nothing has changed in this game.
People in these forums can say all the crap they want defend this game but facts are facts. Why defend crap. People need to start speaking out more often and stop being so scared.
"The first step to improvement is realizing something is crap"
But yup someone had to speak the truth since everyone else doesn't. You guys can say what ever you want.
I wanna get a Tacticle ACR and this new Battle Rifle. Yesterday thou i was very lucky it was raining lightweight m4 and most of them were prety good and even got a Military G36 so i kinda get most of the weaps i like. I am only sad about the Snipers coz they kinda suck or i can't make a proper build for sniper so i kinda gave up on then.
I am saying this coz you gotta find somethin you like in this game i like this few weaps i so i kinda waited to get em still got few things to do.
My build is not as strong as them pros but i like it and i am testing it in DZ that is the end game for me considering i lack pvp xperiance in this game![]()
I'm on the same boat as you. Got what I wanted in first week of playing. Hanged around till now for Barret vest and showstopper, because I artificially create some " carrot " to follow.
I'm doing survival from time to time because of MDR which is another artificial " carrot ", even when I know the gun is average.
TD always lacked in endgame content with absolutely no PVE endgame and average at the most PVP experience.
Still it's only 10 months of development ( actually 2 months since 1.4 was a completely redesign ) and they are trying to put the things on the right track. I will check the game from time to time, but it's definitely not something to hang on atm.
I said the same thing during Survival PTS. This game needs Last Stand now and iit needs it to be amazing. But we all know that we aren't going to get any additional content for the foreseeable future.
To be honest, I'm only playing it as a time sink and because I can't be bothered to go and look for something else to buy. My WoW subscription is activated again now though, so I may head back over there soon. In Division I have 4 toons that I can solo the weeklies on; two of them are UG 40, one is 35 and the other is mid 20s. I might top them off but other than that, what else do I have left to do?
Survival might be good the first few times but once you have extracted, it's novelty appeal drops off really fast. And, after all, it's just UG in a different dress, another loot farm. In UG you get to increase the difficulty of the missions through use of directives to keep them challenging whereas in Survival you don't get to use your new gear, in order to maintain the difficulty level. But, when all is said and done and you have your new gear, you get to kill the same stuff in the game.
Massive really does need to wake up and see what is happening here. They're lucky that a lot of players gave them a second chance; they won't get a third.
All my play time consists of nowadays is running the loop of the LZ bosses and giving Lexington yet another run for the chest piece and that is literally it. I don't PVP so no DZ, I've done Underground more times than I care to remember and Survival doesn't get a look in as I just don't like the mode.
Everything in this game is style over substance. There's really no need to keep playing for anything, there's no goal to work toward and if there was it'll no doubt just be another grind for the next 'best item' and when you get that item all it is after that is just more of the same.
Both Underground and Survival were finished months ago, both of which should have been base game content yet they were released as DLC which are just add-ons that don't expand the story in any way. Wasted opportunities with 1.5..they could have introduced the Hunters into the LZ in the form of a new faction, they could have brought over the tenseness of the DZ into the LZ by having these guys roaming the streets bringing the snow storm with them. This would have made the game so much more exciting and would make our jobs as agents more difficult without adding yet another tier, if HE weapons and special equipment were locked behind these guys it might of gave us something to work toward and gave us a reason to go back in but no, we'll stick them in right at the end of Survival and that's the only time you might encounter a slight challenge.
There are literally hundreds of buildings lying dormant in the LZ and crying out for raids, wouldn't that ship down near the docks make an awesome location for an enemy stronghold? They really need to inject something to keep people playing, if there is going to be nothing else for the next 3 months then where is the reason to carry on playing?
Roll on Wildlands
For me beside that you have just said it's lack of feeling freedom with movements.Originally Posted by xWTOx SkiLLz Go to original post

and the most annoying situation for me is shooting in obstacles when you have crosshair to target.
No crouching option...
Granade throwing system slowest ever...
Quake - game from 1996 without snowflakes and other beautifull graphics have perfect movement system without lack of logic.
Devs should write official post about SNOWDROP engine:
- netcode limitations
- performance limitations
- movement limitations
- bullet penetration limitations
- ...
so we will stop writing posts waiting for miracles...
True. What bugs me most is that all of my gear has become utter trash at least 3 times already.Originally Posted by R-N-Gesus Go to original post
In Warframe your account really is worth something. And will always be. A Warframe or weapon that was good 3 years ago will always stay good.
And this game is soooooo much more active despite of its age. When you post something on the Forum you'll have 20 replies in no time. no comparison to this .... forum.
let alone speaking of matchmaking, etc.
maybe it is good that all of us zombies live in Lexington - because otherwise the matchmaking would be bad EVERYwhere.
