Well, 2nd post in 3 days.
Basically, I only had this issue once in my 1st Multiplayer match, but yesterday it happened again. I take 3-4 minutes to load after I pick a class, and people get pissed off and sometimes kick me. It's impossible to play like that.
I've made some research and people said that they were having issues because their Uplay folder was in another Hard Drive than where they had RBS installed, but I have both on the same one.
I have a GTX 960 and an i3 3330S, so I don't think it's because of my computer. I also have between 30-50ms in other games, so it's not an internet problem.
Has anyone had this issue too? Any solutions possible?
I sent a ticket to the support, but they don't work on weekends. It's sad, but I can't play the game just a day and a half after I bought it.
Edit: I only had this issue in my 1st multiplayer game, and then didn't have it again until I was lvl 9, so, my game worked perfectly until it decided to stop working.
Gonna need more information than that. How much VRAM is in your GPU? How much RAM do you have? Is your HDD old?
Your processor is on the weak side, i3's are old fam.
Though, if you are lagging on high specs it's just that, high specs. Your pc probably can't handle it. Long load times on rainbow are usually a vram, ram, or hdd issue.
Benchmark rainbow with the in-game benchmark.
My graphics card has 4GB. 6GB of RAM. My HDD might be 2-3 y/o. I'm sorry, I meant i5, not i3. I'm not native english, what's that benchmark thing? Thanks!Originally Posted by WorstRengoNA Go to original post
it all sounds like the Harddrive is the problem the Video or processor has not much to do with your loading. also the internet is not influencing the loading process in such a way like the HDD does.
It might happen because something else is taking up resources of you harddrive.
A friend of mine had the same issue after upgrading to SSD he had no problems anymore.
I can vouch for this alsoOriginally Posted by Bert-lgermann Go to original post
Don't listen to these jokers... Your PC is not the problem. Your internet connection is the problem.
This game seems to download/upload something heavy at the beginning of each match. Try to replicate the issue by loading without facebook or downloads in the background . It will load fast . Now download something in the background and you'll experience a huge (and I mean HUGE) increase in load times .
Also, forget about the in-game ping . Despite Ubisoft saying that they provided a fix for accurate ping, it still is highly inaccurate . A guy with 40 ping might have in reality 30 or 200 ping.
Ping in rainbow six siege takes your FPS into consideration + other factors. How exactly they calculate it is a bit unclear, but you can see it's inaccurate when you're killed by an enemy with 40 ping who suddenly pops outside cover ... or you're moving behind cover and die almost a second later, despite their (and your) low ping . On the kill cam you'll see him doing mini teleports and extreme sudden snaps (the killcam is what the server "sees", not what you've seen on your screen, so the killcam tells you that the server is actually experiencing a slow/unstable connection from his side and starts compensating ).
Oh just what I was thinking, I will get a 256MB SSD for 100€ before upgrading my computer just because of this game.Originally Posted by Maxy. Go to original post
I NEVER play a game with background videos or downloads, it affects my ping way too much.Originally Posted by R00T__ Go to original post
If the only problem is because I need to buy an SSD, I'll just sadly have to refund this game.
