So it's useless with almost ... all gamesOriginally Posted by Sp--pyBrown Go to original post
I hope like you that the game will not include unlocks that affect to much the gameplay, to keep the shooting mechanics clean and based on skill.
That said you also need to have unlocks to keep people intrested in the game with a progresssion system. Now video games work like that.
It's maybe not the best evolution of video games but it's something necessary so that the game can attract any type of player.
Nothing here show us that we will not have a hardcore mode with everything unlocked![]()
I have never been able to understand that... Why? If the game is good enough why would people not be interested on it?Originally Posted by SuperBiscotCOT Go to original post
I can understand 8 to 12 year old kids with heavy OCD that need constant gratification but not grown ups... if the game is immersive enough and with a good story, good mechanics there shouldn't be a need for me to unlock the best weapon only to be able to use it on the last mission, what good is that?
but exactly... what type of player is that???Originally Posted by SuperBiscotCOT Go to original post
and nothing here showed that we will either LOLOriginally Posted by SuperBiscotCOT Go to original post
The Division isn't really an RPG. The upgrading system i noticed in the technical test was very similar. In the Division you just add attachments to your weapons and hope for better stats on them. Once you get the best gear that's it. Just takes a bit of crafting and farming but is not difficlut to do. Maxed my gear in 2 weeks. In this you level which unlocks weapons and skills and you can also make adjustments to attachments. I expect upgrading will come slowly.Originally Posted by BlebGate Go to original post
