Survival Cache are they worth farming

    Couple questions
Seems pretty much every run I do I see most people extracting asap. very few farm the boss's for Survival Cache's / fun.
Am I missing something? is it more of a farming mentality get in get out and go again?
I get it if your out of time your out of time I can't be the only one running around with time to kill.
Other than the 4 items in a Survival Cache can it drop anything different then say the Sealed Weapons Cache like the Urban MDR can they drop in either of just the Survival Cache?

You also get phoenix credits from them. If your in a group you usually have to get out fast because there isn't enough medicine to sustain a 4 man group long enough to get 6 survival caches each, or 3 each for that matter unless you get lucky.

Solo on the other hand is different. If your already spending 30 min or so preparing for the DZ you might as well spend another 20-30 min gearing up and taking out the land marks for the survival caches.

As for what caches drop what Im not 100% sure.

Iv only got 1 named Item from survival and it was an Urban MDR from a survival cache (1 in 85 survival caches opened). I have not gotten a named from weapon or sealed gear caches from there.

FYI don't really worry about the Urban MDR its really not very good. I got excited for a minute but after using for some runs with Firecrest and Alpha bridge I came the the conclusion that it's hot garbage until its damage gets a 15% to 20% buff. (All burst fire weapons need a similar buff btw)

Kinda pisses me off that "named" gear isn't very good in this game (80% of it) yet they give them a drop chance that an "EPIC LEGENDARY" would have in any other game, worse really if you consider the RNG on top of RNG problem.

I work with databases it would take less than 5 min to change the damage value on that gun and make it actually exciting to get. If something client side needs to be changed then roll it out on PC (live game, not pts) and if it gets good feedback put it in the next xbox/ps4 patch.

I can see how if you look at the numbers it might seem like some of the guns are "even" but taking them out and actually using them shows a whole different story for a ton of people, No one iv talked to has been happy with named weps since pretty much launch, except the caduceuos and maybe 1 or 2 others.

I'll be honest, while you get a bunch of items out of them, I'm pretty sure I have never kept a single item that came from them.

Ha ha ha, someone sounds abit waspy.
Calm down kid, it all depends on your play style, the MDR is good for someone, rubbish for others (like me) Doesn't suit my play style.
