I used the Score Calculator and have organized the tracks based on how much score you get from improving it (by 1 tenth or .100 in this case)
Hope this helps all you fellow Trials riders in deciding which times you want to try to improve to give yourself the edge on the Leaderboards

A sticky for this would be nice, as it would stay easily accessible to everybody

EDIT* These score improvements are based on the rider not hitting the 360,000 (ultimate) score threshold for a track. The score isnt capped at 360K, but the scoring works differently after that point. (basically you start getting less points after achieving 360K)
as mentioned above, I used the Global Scoring Calculator made by Defoliator and others.Originally Posted by Tomahog UK Go to original post

It has a "what if" feature that tells you how much score you would gain for a given track
basically it's because the gap from platinum time to "ultimate" (the time needed to achieve the max score) time on Deluge is a smaller gap than on Way of the Machine.Originally Posted by Tomahog UK Go to original post
The whole "extremes give less points that Beginners" isn't entirely true, it has to do with the time gap from plat (322,500 points i think it is?) to the ultimate time (360,000 points)
Interesting tool, but it doesn't take into account two things:
1. Shaving off a tenth from a short track is going to be harder than shaving off a tenth from a long track.
2. Shaving off a tenth is typically much more challenging for easier tracks than harder tracks.
It may be worth doing this calculation as a percentage of a set value. Platinum times for each track could be one such set value, but the difficulty of attaining these is not consistent. World Record time is a more consistent value I think. Analyzing the score increase for a 1% or 5% improvement from either WR or plat may give a better indicator of which tracks would give highest score while accommodating the effort required to make that improvement.

You need to read what I wrote underneath the link friend. Odds are, you have already gotten over 360,000 points from it (which is around 35.6 seconds), and like I said, the list is for scoring based on a person not having reached that threshold yet. because scoring works differently after that. Deluge in this example will only give you 62 points per 1/10th gain instead of the 469. Hope that fixes your confusion.
Edit* I just did the math for you and yes, you are past the 360k mark for that track. so 35 x 62 = 2,170
