Cannot get past 'loading game configuration'

    Hi,

Whenever I try starting Far Cry Primal, everything runs smoothly until I get to the part where it tries to connect to the Ubisoft server.
After taking a while to connect to the Ubisoft server (which it eventually suceeds in doing), the framerate suddenly drops to circa. 1 - 7, and the game cannot get past 'loading game configuration'.

Does anyone have a clue on how to resolve this issue?

    Thanks!

    Oscar.

Hey there OscarTheKing, can you try running Uplay as an administrator and see if that gets you past that screen?

If the message persists after running Uplay as an administrator, I suggest trying the steps on this FAQ. Though those steps are typically for downloading issues, I think they'll help with your issue as well. And if the issue persists after those steps, always feel free to reach out to our technical support team for further help.

Please contact Ubi support for your region

you can find phone number\ support options \ and support hours information @ https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/Contact#en-gb

please include your DX diag and dx info files as well as any uplay crash logs you may have

you can find those in your uplay folder

the drive you installed uplay to i use C \ program files X 86 \ Ubisoft | ubisoft game launcher \ logs

also it may help if you uninstall uplay ..get the latest version from the uplay home page here https://uplay.ubi.com/

and install that to your C drive .. or what ever drive windows is installed to ..you can install your game files to what ever drive you wish .. but i think... yes Uplay likes to be on the same drive as windows
