Thanks again for clarification! So you're ambidextrous in both 3rd person and when aiming down sights? That's encouraging! I can live with that.
I think I'd be a little happier with your character having a set dominant hand though. If Wildlands uses a set up similar to other games, your character is righty by default and you're only left handed when it benefits you. IE: Just walking around the world you'll carry the weapon right handed, you only switch to your left hand situationally to peak around cover to the left and switch back to your right hand for everything else.
I'm not expecting much, left handers are only like 10% of the population. It's not usually cost effective to spend programming time for such a small segment of the audience (::sad trombone sound:
. At this point though, if they already have left handed animations in the game, I can't imagine it would be much more programming to give players the option to default to it. I can't speak for all left handed people, but this lefty would be hopelessly and gleefully addicted to the game with the inclusion of this one tiny detail alone. It's a revelation to be able to feel immersed in your character/game without having to do some mental gymnastics.
I'm looking forward to the game regardless. It looks awesome, can't wait!
