Because casual is more fun and less sweaty. Also the only place where playing solo work is casual because you often play with other expiereinced soloers and it works better.

Even tho I'm lvl 131, have 256 hours in the game, and played ranked in both "vanilla" and Y1S1 (reached "top gold" both times), I play Casual for 3 reasons.

    1) Main reason is that I usually play with two of my real life friends, and both of them are fairly new to this game.
    2) I've "returned" to the game less than a month ago (during the free weekend in february), so I don't consider myself Ranked ready yet.
    3) If I can believe forums, reddit, etc, even tho you often see "XY is banned" announcements from BattleEye hackers are said to be still very common in ranked, especially at higher ranks.

But as I originally stated not an hour goes by without really immature things going down like voting out new players, team killing new players, trolling and a bunch of other things I don't experience in any other fps. I'm not new to this game she is.
You expect maturity in a video game with team killing??????? You’re not new to this game so you know she’s gonna need a squad to avoid the trolls.

Speaking on the PC behalf i dont play ranked due to the insane amount of bugs this game has, hitbox inconsistency, and the hackers. Why should i join ranked only to have my ranked decreased and then kids can call me bad because my rank is crappy.

So? You know its not true, so who cares?

Even if someone is bad at the game, who cares?

There isn't any rule written you have to be good at something to enjoy doing it. That's why fan-fiction is a thing.

I don't like the play style in ranked. The timer is shorter, everything is rushed and CODesque. I solo/duo so I will never rank up very high no matter how I play. People are always leaving and i'm stuck with a crippled team.

I like casual because it's more of a strategic game and less of a rush and snap headshot game. If i want to try risky strats its ok, no huge loss if it fails. When someone ragequits, they are replaced with someone new. I don't want to use my mic, and as soon as yours get annoying, I mute it. Its Casual... I don't need it.

I just don't think ranked is fun. Last season was horrible. I am usually a gold level player, but, the ranked environment was sooo bad in White Noise that I ended up copper. I wish there was a happy medium in between. Like a Casual+ or something that is only open to 100+ players.

Not to mention the matchmaking that will keep putting me against platinum and diamond teams, when i have a bunch of copper/silver randoms.

Dont always have to play ranked!!

As a fellow lvl 158 and plat player I seem to not want to play ranked, majority of the time I just place and then grind casual. So people message me like why you gotta sweat its casual, it's because we like the satisfaction of winning ( yes I play xbox, we do get sweaty over cas )

    Wrong

go ahead and start playing consistently. watch your rank go from whatever to copper 4 just by even being online.

Sometimes you just dont have a team for ranked. I tried playing solo ranked and Im never doing this crap again. Also sometimes you just wanna relax and play for fun without thinking about winning or losing.

    Here's what I think;

You're going to mostly find tryhards or high levels in casual because it is the main part of the game. Let me clarify, rank doesn't matter. I've met level thirties who are better than level 100s. A gold can be better than a diamond. You can be a no rank and still kick ***. It's all about how you wanna play, and if you wanna win, you need practice. THunt will help you with aim, but you'll need lots of in-game experience to improve your own skills. Watch Siege School by VarsityGaming, it helps a lot with tactics.

When I started, I had the same problem. All I needed was determination to improve and be able to stand in a fight, without dying in seconds. I've done lots of early rank clutches, because of luck, determination, concentration, hearing, and my ability to aim good. My first was at level twenty, against Frost, Maestro, and Caveira (all around 50-90). It's not about level, but how you try and enjoy it. I suggest you get into bigger squads or something, so you have more communication and can win without team obstacles. :)
