I think the ultimate solution and best system for competition would be single bike leaderboards. Armadillos vs armadillos, berserkers vs berserkers.
By doing this you'd increase competition as you'd have 3+ different leaderboards for each track and you'd know if you were the improving with the slower balance bikes. As it stands now, I have no idea if I'm getting better or worse on the armadillo because my personal records were all set with the tango bronco and KTM.
There would be 2 benefits to this. It would inspire some people to go back to the weaker bikes and play more with them and if you're a total bad a$$ rider and you can get the top time with all 4 tier one bikes you get to become the undisputed tier one champion of the world. Not just the "I got the fastest time on this track champ" but the "on a level playing field there's nothing you can do to beat me on this track champ".
Al Iafrate recorded the fastest shot in hockey with a wooden stick, his record stood for over 15 years until Zdeno Chara beat it using a composite stick. It doesn't denigrate iafrate's accomplishment, everyone who knows hockey knows that what iafrate did was truly impressive but times changed equipment changed and he's no longer the record holder.Originally Posted by NO-bwestlie-TFG Go to original post
These things happen all the time in sport. Games evolve, equipment evolves, records get broken.
There have been other adjustments TF that change records. 5 months ago if you took a fully built bronco ad ran the cave with no input other than holding the throttle down you would run an 11.466 time, if you do the same thing now you run a 11.453. Doesn't that ruin your competitive integrity as well? Something has been adjusted to change that time, it's just not as obvious as a new bike.
Mine is the KTM nowadays, lots of Gold medals become Plat on my map with it.
Makes my days when against ANBA on Tier1 tracks : )))
My favourite bike is Bronco.I also like Stallion and Donkey. I do not like the legendary bikes because of their top players who no longer play this game, losing ground.
