My overall favorite bike is the Mantis. A close second would be the Tango (DOWN WITH THE KTM!)
Shoutouts to the Phantom in Tier 3 for formerly being useless, but always awesome.
I also enjoy the Donkey and on occasion, the Stallion.
Agent is garbage, feels like a train.
Did I mention the KTM is dumb?
I like how the KTM came as a total disruption to an otherwise "stagnating" leader board of the Tier 1 bikes. Most best runs were defined, there was almost nothing new in Tier 1. And then came the KTM and basically revived the whole line-up. I think KTM-like alternatives should come to Tier 2 and Tier 3, that'd be really fresh.
Otherwise Berzerker for the win!
I just love the Berserker. Its so fast and agile that it just..........melts in my hand. and propably add the pasila in the game cause all the hackers here are enjoying its fun so why not us???
. Cheers
Yeah sure....sounds more important to talk about bikes than thinking about how messed up are the leaderboards right now.
Sl1mboy84_T3F - we're working on cleaning up the leaderboards too, let's stick to the topic here.

@justinman114 - The Mantis is one my favorites too, the Donkey not so much; but how's the KTM dumb?

I get why people didn't like the KTM. There was a lot of history erased on those boards by original players who used to dominate the game like "FlatCircle" or "timohthey".
But I really liked the excuse to revisit all of those old tracks with new routes that weren't possible before. And I don't feel like my tango times were wasted as I still need tango skills for the bunker.
I'd like to see a tier 2 equivalent show up.
But overall? LOVE the donkey. It can be so irritating to control at times, but when you get a run all put together it's a fun bike.
Not a fan of the stallion. But not for the same reasons as others. I like the idea of it and the jump action is a neat change. But I've been screwed out of a good run MANY times by trying to jump and my phone reads the touch as a reset to previous checkpoint, even though I was nowhere near the reset arrow. Anyone else get that??
The KTM is "okay"... but many did not like it because it appeared on the main LB instead of its own LB (like donkey did) or on Crazy LB. By being in the Tier1 LB and performing as a cross between Tangos agility and Broncos speed... it often eclipses both of those Tier1 bikes. . . proof being how its taken over the LBs on most Tier1 tracks. It effectively renders the main storyline bikes (and the 2-year effort put into them) as a waste of time (except in bunker). To make it worse... it being Tier1-only means many of us are now "waiting for the other shoe to drop" on Tier2 and Tier3...because surely RL didnt jplan to do this on JUST Tier1? Bottom-line... its a decent bike but it left a bad taste in many people mouths.Originally Posted by Ubi-Negitron Go to original post
So future note to RL; multiple LBs promote more game play; reusing LBs implies "starting over" and just pisses people off who saw their time/effort thrown away.. and drives many of them from the game.
Best: Donkey (favorite and SO GLAD it has its own LB), Tango, Bronco, Mantis, Berzkerker. (Overall I prefer agility over speed, but would LOVE a LB with only speed bikes)
Worst: Agent Bike (drivers like a wounded water buffalo), and Stalllion (which like I to call the "OneTrick Pony", and the "Spastic Giraffe"). Hate the Stallion because it uses a physics-breaking jumping mechancic that has no place in this game, IMO.
Ambivalent: Any "balance" bike. Clearly weak performers that are only present for the story-line and as a sink for our upgrades/money. . . .![]()
Much like what xitooner said, it came way too late. A lot of us have been playing since day 1, and personally I had grinded the CRAP out of every track, and spend hundreds of hours getting the best times I thought I could with my skill. All of a sudden, here comes an OP bike to Tier 1, and if I want to keep my times competitive, I need to RE-GRIND about 100+ tracks. Well, I just don't have the time for that. It's a damn shame really.Originally Posted by Ubi-Negitron Go to original post
So now I just rebel and still use Tango/Bronco on Tier 1 and just do the best I can with those bikes. DOWN WITH THE KTM!
