Maybe the devs could consider to allow the player to replay completed story missions, along with upgraded inventory (obtained later in the game) just like in GTA V.

They could also include bronze, silver and gold stars for different play styles achieved during the mission replays.

Yes, you will be able to go back and replay missions, should you so choose to do so.

How does it work exactly? Does everything spawn and be there again when you get near the area (would be horrible). Or do you get prompt to replay mission similar to Division?

It would only make sense because of the variety of ways to approach the mission. But as I said before, I hope the mission objectives and the enemy AI have various spawn points each time you start the mission. It keeps the players from getting complacent and keeps them on their toes. It makes recon pointless if the primary target and AI keep spawning and patrolling in the same locations and patterns.

I do wonder though, if the game world evolves as you progress through Wildlands, does it change again when you replay a mission differently?

There are day and night cycles that affect all behaviours.

If not already, just look at The Division setup for missions, might be nice to have that kind of activation in WL.

    Let me explain a bit.
If completed a mission it stays that way until you activate/restart it again.
this can be done through the map interaction or just a point on the map you can interact with to start the mission again.

In The Division you can also choose to search for players to teamup with (Matchmaking) and also change the difficulty of the mission.

you are the same company so should not be that hard to get those implemented in this game if it wasnt already.

I haven't actually experienced replaying missions first-hand. I assume when you actually want to replay a mission you need to first choose to replay it, like in The Division. So the mission doesn't automatically respawn everything if you've already beaten it, but if you choose to replay it (from the map or mission list I assume), then it will respawn all the needed elements and teleport your group of friends and you near to the mission or something like that.

This way you can experiment with different mission approach styles, just like in some of the trailers showing off different ways to do the same mission at different times of day.

Hopefully in the repeat missions certain gear piece drops / rewards will not be locked to a specific mission (as The Division) and will be weighted across all activities (i.e. allowing items to drop randomly). I know RNG plays a bit part in gear / item drops, but the Division is crippled at the moment by players repeating one specific mission, repeatedly, for one specific gear item. It takes the fun out of playing various different game aspects, wondering whether your sacrifices to RNGesus have been enough.

AFAIK, unlocks are tied to XP; no "random drops". This is Ghost Recon FFS. I just hope the devs have moved away from the linear "unlock tree" or added a hardcore mode that bypasses the unlocks entirely.

What does XP give you? How does it tie into the game? Ive never played a Ghost Recon title, Wildlands would be my first.
